Hiya my name is marie. I am disabled by diabetic neuropathy, and other things to do with being diabetic,also I’ve had a few strokes, I’m 52 I’ve had my medical problems for 24 years, I don’t talk to many people, I feel quite alone, I have a handful of friends, and I know they have very busy lives.
knowing there are other people in a similar situation to me, will be great for me to gain new friends 🥰

Hi and welcome to the community

I am also diabetic and this has led to disabilities including peripheral neuropathy, severe sight loss and leg amputation

So I can fully empathise with you on this

Hi @mariebm welcome to the group.
I think you are in the right place, there are lots of people on here for you to communicate with and ask advise.
Take your time to have a good look around and join in any of the chats. I find a great part is the coffee lounge, but once you've checked the site out i am sure you will find things of interest.

@bekindalways, Thankyou yes feeling a lot less alone now, I do have bad days, l have bad days often, but now I’ve found all of you I’m sure this will be so much better x
