    A lazy day at home sounds like a great plan. What does a lazy day at home look like for you today?  :)

    We just got back from going out for breakfast.

    It was raining very heavily on the way there. It was quite scary in the car.

    Now I’m going to go to a private car park to have a go in my Dad’s van just so I am able to say I’ve driven a van. :) we can’t go on the road as I’m not insured, and my Motability insurance only covers me to drive my Motability car. So I’m going to have a drive round the car park and maybe have a go at parking!!!

    A lazy day is lying in bed drinking coffee chatting 

    Then getting up preparing meal had an egg sandwich then just watching TV and bit of research for our holiday

    Thanks :) I got on well, I only drove in 1st and 2nd gear around the car park but it was quite easy, just like driving a big car. I also had a go at reversing and it was actually easier than reversing a car in some ways, as you can see where the back of the vehicle is as it's longer. It was fun though :smiley:

    Lazy Sunday here. Just chilling out  no one else in so lying on the sofa with my dog,  just listening to the rain on the window very therapeutic 😌

    Morning started off beautiful sunny day , then by 1 all hell came .Thunder , lighting extremely heavy rain but all for about half an hour, currently in Poole no rain some sun but I'm the last 10 minutes can hear rumbles in the distance. Did not get wet hid in a pub and had lunch.

    Sounds like you've had a great day @66Mustang, you were right @Sandy_123 it went lovely here from midday, hope your local floods are okay. I should imagine it is not a good experience to have your house flooded, has anyone experienced that ??
    Started raining again now and it's looking stormy. Kept the bucket and towel in the same place, got me dinghy ready @janer1967 ha ha ha xxxx

    Looks like everyone's had a good day. I'm shattered so lying ontop of the bed with a cuppa watching Vera. 
    Meant to have storms coming in at about 8pm and heavy rain again.

    Bless @Ada sounds like you had a stressful night and more to come today with the gas, at least they didn't have to evacuate any of you, fingers crossed it gets sorted today.
    We never got any of the thunder, but i'm sure a few of you did, how stormy it looked. Hope it wasn't to bad a storm @66Mustang

    Afternoon all hope everyone is well another balmy day, weatherwise, finally got out mid day looking for paint colour (someone decided he might start the kitchen this week) three shops latter couldn't get the colour we wanted for wood work, got the emulsion etc for walls and ceiling, so will have a look online for the gloss. 
    We've come to the conclusion we don't like going to the shops when other people are there ha ha x
