Have you ever referred yourself for a needs assessment? When you do this an Occupational Therapist will come out and do a needs assessment on you. From this it will determine what help can be given.

It's doubtful that you'll get help. Not with osteoarthritis and a slipped disk. Have you tried a gadget to help lower you into the bath or a seat in the shower? I have scoliosis, arthritis in my neck and compression of the spine and I found both things excellent. You can ask for rails to be placed on the sides to help you In and out
