How is your day going?

I would just say I’m sorry but all my times taken up helping my husband otherwise I’d gladly help.
And as you don’t drive it’s just not possible.
@Beaver79
Oh I’m just feeling a bit uncomfortable I think I pushed myself to quick, just taking it easy now.
@Sandy_123
Hows your chest feeling.
@66Mustang
Oh glad you got some nice treats.
❤️2 -
Definitely take it easy now @Lou67 give yourself time to heal. Hopefully the biotics will kick in soon.
Feels a bit worse today but I'm used to bad chests so will carry on with my inhalers.
Had a message off drs come through asking me to rate their services. I actually said out loud, oh you really don't want that rating from me lol2 -
@Jimm_Scope and @Lou67 they are fully aware of our situation. OH was in hospital 9 weeks with stroke, liver and neurology issues and it didn't look like he would make it.
I drive and all my time is taken getting him to appointments, shopping etc, making meals and with my back pain and using a rollator it's really hard.
They just want money from house sale and we have no interest as I want to get him through life saving brain surgery and there will be a recovery period too.
Thanks for listening. I've noone to let off steam to1 -
It really sounds very hard your situation @Marydoll5 you need help with your husband from carers get in touch with social services who can assess the situation.2

@Marydoll5
Oh sorry I read it wrong about you driving.
You have enough to deal with I think the advice Sandy gave about getting in touch with Social Services regarding carers would be a massive help to you.
Thank you yes I’m taking it easy now.
@Sandy_123
Oh Sandy that’s such a shame you shouldn’t have to cope just because you are used to chest infections 🤦♀️
Omg it’s a joke a review after the way you were dealt with.
I got one from my Housing Association after the loft was eventually cleaned out asking for one.I think I took a screenshot off what I sent, I will look for it and show you. They are crazy to have asked 😂1 -
Have you contacted your local authority about seeing if you can get support in caring for him @Marydoll5 ? You can ask for Respite Care, to help lessen the burden on you. The Local Authority could also see if there are adaptations they can help install into your home to help him get around.1

@Sandy_123
I can’t find it but I think it’ll be the last they ask for a review 😂1 -
That doesn't sound very fair @Marydoll5,I'd tell them that you've got too much on your plate at the moment and advise them to make their own arrangements.
I wouldn't put it quite like that though.1 -

We once flew home from holiday in thick fog,it was so bad I had no idea we'd landed.
We were trundling along the runway at Gatwick and I thought we were still up in the clouds.1 -
Oh no no not flying in it, last time I flew home was thunder storms, but forecast in Wales, so thought was ok, until the plane decided to fly over Wales to brum eek1

Feeling exhausted with very little appetite 😥 I hope everyone is feeling okay today? Does anyone have any advice to help with sleep at all I’ve tried my usual of listening to music or pacing but not working this time 😥😢1
-
Hi @Dannibell sorry you can't sleep. If nothing is working might be worth seeing your gp as specially as you little appetite too.1
-
Thanks guys for the advice. I'm waiting on being contacted by social services for a carers assessment to be done. There is a backlog so I have to be patient! Our local government systems have collapsed in Northern Ireland.
I'll let you know when I get assessed.
I really appreciate all your advice2 -
Hopefully it's soon @Marydoll5 my sisters are off to Dublin on Monday everyone seems to be going off my end lol2
