Woke up totally miserable 👍 I really wish I could learn not to be affected by others comments and shrug things off rather than being left feeling totally inadequate.
At least the dog seems content with me, or maybe it's because we're playing hide the treat 😂
Going to try a brief walk outside in-between the showers to try and lift my mood. The starlings have started to bring their young chicks out to feed so I've been watching them. When exactly do these young birds learn to pick the mealworms up by themselves rather than waiting for the adult to shove them into their mouths? Talk about stress! Those chicks cry and cry at the adult when they are literally standing on a mealworm 😂😂1 -
It is a worry @Lou67 I have a thing with my bank where if a purchase is a new 1 or somewhere I've not shopped before they send a text asking me then a confirmation on the website I'm using, which can be a pain at time as I have to log Into the app and confirm it. But it's also good3

Yes my bank does the same, it would probably be a good thing if credit cards done the same.

Yes I used it once abroad so I’m not sure if it was from there it’s been done but the fraud team are looking into it.
I told her I had been away and there was another purchase tried while I was away but it didn’t go through.

Yeah, a lot banks will just reject payments from abroad unless you've told them. I've been through a fraud problem once but the bank were great, I didn't lose any money and they made sure it was all good. Hope they do the same for you @Lou672

I’ve been feeling low today
I’ve been trying hard to improve things for myself and been really optimistic about stuff recently that I should be able to do in the future, nothing crazy just stuff everyone does
It was quite rightfully pointed out that maybe what I want to do won’t work out but now I don’t know what to do
I seem to be “black and white” like to me something is either a great plan or a rubbish one, I can’t grasp that there is a lot of middle ground
I don’t think there are certain people who by default have no right to happiness or to feel content but maybe that is meant to be my place in society??
Sorry for whinging but I hope someone can help me feel a little better 1 -

Jimm, no one explicitly told me stuff won't work out, I think it's just people trying to be realistic if I'm honest
However I kind of got the impression that maybe some people are trying to tell me, as gently as possible I have to grant, that being lonely and upset is how I'm "meant" to be for the rest of my life - but I think surely everyone has the right to happiness and content?? Unless they have committed some kind of atrocity
I wonder if maybe some people, who are worse off than me, have disabilities that are only going to get worse not better - and it's hard to comprehend getting "better" at all, and maybe they had to develop the mindset "accept what you have"?? Mine is kind of the opposite way round - I started off super bad and I guess I will (and am) get(ting) better in time - and I totally accept that just because of that I am really lucky in some ways!!
Just some random thoughts, my head is kinda in a muddle at the moment 3
