    I respond to your question on your other thread. I just wanted to make a point of saying that when you do migrate across you will not be any worse off.

    I totally understand my dog 15 has cancer will destroy me I also going put of My mind looking around me thinking I will lose everything and have no means to support myself surly if you have diagnosis of severe mental health which I do they can't force us day in day out torturous I was waiting for labours manifesto and I crashed and burned I don't think it will be as easy as just throwing us all into work we're disabled and we have reasons not to work

    Also concerning UC when you recieve migration letter and you change over you get trans something that matches what you get on esa lwcra

    Some will be entitled to Transitional Protection and some won't. For those that are entitled it erodes over time so if other elements increase, or you become entitled to other elements the TP decreases, until eventually it erodes completely. This means that your benefits are actually frozen.

    How are we supposed to deal with cash-payments towards higher costs of living due to disabilities?

    Fuel costs etc.

    The costs to be able to run the mobility vehicles we may have. Or do these go back to PIP?

    It depends on circumstances when you migrate across. Some people are better off claiming UC so in this case there will be no entitlement to TP. When you claim UC they calculate the figures of the benefits you moved from, against entitlement to UC and if UC is less the TP makes up the difference. It's very complicated, even for me and my benefits knowledge is good.

    You won't lose out when you claim and as I advised some will be entitled to more. Citizens Advice have a help to claim phone number.

    There will also be support in place for those most in need when migrating from ESA. I'm sure you've heard about those 500 people that are being migrated across from now, this is what this is for so they can gather more information on the issues that some may have when claiming.

    if you're living in either Wolverhampton or East Suffolk then you could be one of those chosen for the trial. If you don't live in those areas then you won't be moving across just yet.

    Oh OK no I'm london way oh I feel for them I was so happy 2028 2029 and so upset when moved forward but suppose wasn't first lot of people 13 years ago thanks for everything you do really appreciated

    Yes because they don't pay council tax either. Why can't they of kept it like it is.

    Council Tax reduction has never been part of UC. This still needs to be claimed from your local authority, as it is now. I advised you this on another thread earlier today.

    Yes, it's through local authority (council) same as it is now. It will be recalculated based on your UC entitlement. I can't give any further advice on that because all LAs have their own rules.

    Can I ask if your ESA includes the Severe disability Premium?
