I also thought this was a safe space, it is never my intention to ever upset or offend anyone. I am going through a hard time and I wrote comments on here to see if others had the same struggles as me, I just needed to rant as itโ€™s detrimental keeping it all bottled up, and it really helps talking these things through with ppl that understand.

She was genuinely offering support and when it comes from a good heart good place it's leave the individual feeling they done wrong or they actually upset someone so then take it inwards and retract or think and believe thier no good and feeling ashamed and upset being autistic having people telling you what you thinking and saying is wrong is very triggering and can take people to dark place I truly believe she found this forum and felt apart of it I hope she comes back being undiagnosed autistic we all feel hurt upset almost offended and mostly shut down it's a sensitive subject I also hope summerlove is OK

Makes me feel sad for them as they really put lot of time in especially answering questions and explaining I really dislike it when good people made to feel like thier not you really do make connections

OK, I was never going to reply on this thread & was contemplating taking a break from this forum until next year, but, despite what any of you may think, you all matter to me; this community matters to me.

@Emilee - who has only shown themself to be a very kind & helpful person about the benefits advice she has given on the forum, was only trying to help on this thread, & now feels like she shouldn't comment.

The comments were 'in part' possibly misjudged as she's also neurodivergent, tho whether neurotypical like myself, or neurodivergent, it seems like you can be misjudged.

I asked if I'd ever treated any of you differently as you're neurodivergent? I didn't get a single reply. @WhatThe - it may not matter to you much, but I remember you saying a couple of Christmases ago that I was the only person that had wished you a 'Merry Christmas.' I've also recently helped you in copying legislation you wished to read. Prior to that, together with poppy, I also tried to help, & asked Adrian to do so too.

@Catherine21 - did I not say publicly that I was grateful for you changing your Trustpilot review? You have gained in so much confidence since then.

When you joined @Nightcity - I said fairly quickly that you were a valuable member of the community.

Some comments I saw from eeL I 'liked,' she was also kind enough to 'like' a couple of mine recently on a post about PIP & epilepsy.

Why would any of you think I wasn't there for all of you, neurodiverse or not?

There were no 'nasty remarks' about vikki, nor 'sarcastic swipes.' She's left, as has Biblioklept, a totally lovely neurodivergent woman, who sadly wasn't missed, it seems, by any of you, tho she certainly was by some of us.

When did Biblioklept leave? This is hard to keep up with atm.

I can't answer questions on demand. Obviously it mattered if I mentioned it.

I wouldn't assume we've all read the same posts on any thread.

Biblioklept left a week ago. It was a very unfortunate misunderstanding (not to do with any members). Myself & others liked her enormously; she's kind, bubbly, had put up interesting posts; just a totally lovely person who's left.

I'd wondered which neurodiverse women you'd seen had left the forum @WhatThe ? I suppose having got to know Biblioklept she was the one that mattered to me enormously. Not forgetting @66Mustang who has been kind enough to call me a friend, & has stayed away from the forum for way too long. Like Biblioklept he also made some very interesting posts, & I miss him on the forum too.

I do tend to read through most of the posts, but of course don't expect anyone else to do the same, nor do you have to answer my query.

I just want/hope us all to be there for each other. It honestly doesn't matter to me if someone is neurodivergent or not, but seeing your posts, I can only hope I'm being there for everyone & learning from you.

My son was referred to see a neuropsychologist about 20 years ago due to his memory problems, it was then that he was told he was 'next door to Asperger's.' My neighbour told me just over a year ago that she'd thought my son was on the autistic spectrum as her husband had been diagnosed with autism some years previously & she could see similarities in my son.

My son is now 38, & I've seen his struggles throughout his life, & his strengths! We're incredibly close, & he gives me great insight into many things. His Dad is dyslexic, as is my eldest daughter. I have an inkling about neurodivergence, even if I haven't personally experienced this as I've been there for my children when their Dad wasn't.

Just trying to say, I have a little understanding, & have learnt more from Biblioklept & 66Mustang & some of you too. I value you all, but don't want to see any division between us; all of our members are disabled in many ways, tho some of our neurodivergent members may have understandably felt some neurotypicals didn't understand them, some of us want to be there for you all regardless.

I don't know how better to put this, but this forum is here for us all, & we should work together, not make divisions between ourselves.

Whats really hard is communicating through messages so hard as undiagnosed ADHD we listen to tones body language great reader of people and on here obviously there's none of that and it's so hard as most of you know I was arguing with everyone I think it's because me personally I've always had to have my own back and all my life been fighting my own corner such amazing people on here and its truly hard when they go I do understand the feeling when your posts are pulled up and you feel the spotlight is on you and you know you was coming from a place of compassion and its so so triggering because you been pulled up told your wrong or thats not right or they check your posts first time happened to Me I was furious people either retreat of become vocal because my observations are people with adhd or autism are great empaths and hate injustice it truly feels that your being picked on even if that's not the intention I hate hate to think of people being upset and leave because like myself this forum has been so helpful to me and I know vikki eeL summerlove was such great people I feel bad about summerlove she was responding to a question I asked and she was offering support let's see how today goes with liz kendell I'm dreading it I won't watch I coke on here after xx
