Perhaps Scope could intervene ?

I can bring it up. Though I believe that email address only sends replies on weekdays, depending on their backlog it may take a few working days to get a response. I will let them know that their automatic response needs updating and they can hopefully fix that on Monday! Thank you for bringing it up 🙂

Yes I got the same auto reply stating all e-mails will be replied to by 11th January. I got an e-mail back to say they got my application and that was it so I'll just keep on holding on. It's very kind of Scope to provide the vouchers, but it's stressful not knowing what's going on.

I really hope you, myself and others hear back soon. 🤗

My card arrived this morning and as soon as I registered it took around 5 minutes for it to be approved!
Was very easy to add the £150 to Octopus account!

They might be doing it on different days now as I got mine this morning via text.

I am glad you received yours @Luchia - may I ask, when did you apply? 🤗

Hopefully you hear from them soon.
Mine arrived via Text and I got an email shortly before the text arrived to let me know it has been processed and to await the text

I applied on 13th December and haven’t heard a single thing.

I just emailed the energy support and had an automated reply back saying they will contact me by 10th January… very helpful! NOT!

I've been umming & ahing about signing up for this, have just finally gone for it. I can't afford to have the heating on & actually took the fuses out. This will help me if we have a really cold spell, as the one we went through recently was hard going & painful. At least I know there will be a wait from all your experiences.

Ditto Poppy - I wonder whether they're doing the later ones first??
Thanks Luchia, that's good to know, I've an Octopus account too : )

That's pretty drastic Jessie, taking the fuses out! I used to have a rule of only turning the fires on when it fell below 56F, and watched the thermometer endlessly, but gone down several degrees this year, this afternoon it was 51F downstairs + no fires upstairs… To a certain extent I think you acclimatise, but if you're shivering you really should put it on, being too cold can have big affect on your health, especially if you have heart / circulation problems or arthritis or breathing problems. One time my fingers turned blue LOL… (it was pretty cold).
One tip: I wear thermals + a fleece + several layers of jumpers. Rather like a telly tubby, but it helps…

@IndignantPigeon i received an email not long after I contacted them, I don’t know if it was a coincidence or not. I was advised that they have requested the £150 on Mastercard and would I like to receive it by text or email. I replied and chose email. I was also advised to use the card and add it to my energy account once I receive it. Not received it yet.

I had that same email poppy, within a few days I received the email with the link to the card on it

It is drastic & I never ever thought I would be in this position, but, that's how it is. I have several health problems that mean I need to be warm, Reynaud's the obvious one, then arthritis, asthma ++ so I wrap up in thermals, fur lined leggings under jeans & layers up top, plus compression gloves & an Oodie copy, I look like Nanook of the North. 😆 I have an electric throw that I'll put on for an hour when it gets too much, but that is rarely & a treat. Survived the last 3 winters & although it's not that comfortable, it is doable.
