I’m looking forward to joining in where I can.

Hi @RachelBirch and welcome to the community!
It's lovely to have you here and I hope you enjoy your time on the community!
What do you like to do for fun?1 -
Thank you so much for your kind welcomes! 🥰🥰
I thought I would tell you what I enjoy and is fun to me and makes me happy especially on the harder days.
I have a 4 month old puppy who I adore and she is so loving and keeps me company! she needs to start walking on the pavement now. I tried about 10 days ago and she was overwhelmed but I think she is ready now! I will need to use my walker at first and I’m anxious how to cope with a dog who will want to wander about and my walker!😆 imagine chaos on the pavement! A puppy and a stick doesn’t work as I’ve tried! Ultimately she will need to learn to walk beside my smaller scooter if she wants a long walk!
Has anyone had this issue or any helpful hints would be fantastic!
My eldest daughter has an 8 month old baby boy and he is my first grandchild. We are so close and my daughter WhatsApp videos me when he is tearful or grizzly as she knows he will immediately smile and he tries to cuddle me through the phone Aww 🥰 and when I hold him he smothers my face in kisses! I feel amazed that he loves me so much! My daughter said other than her I’m the only person who gets kisses!! 😘. He always lifts my spirits as does my pup. My favourite time is to be with my children and their partners. I feel I can truly relax and I feel safe.
I love nature and I feed the birds and try all sorts of crafty ways to stop the pigeons eating the lot!I used to be up to 2 years ago and avid gardener digging over the soil setting things and I love weeding! Now I can’t do much but I nurture my tub plants and I’m preparing them for the spring! Yay!! I love the spring!
Unfortunately most of my hobbies and mindfulness go to’s I’m unable to do and enjoy. My hearing has suddenly deteriorated and what I do hear is distorted so my passion for music has reduced which was my go to if I struggle emotionally. I’m spiritual in my beliefs and enjoy meditating to relax bit I fall asleep 😆.
I never thought I’d say this but I enjoy relaxing in my cosy chair, watching TV. I have found a few gripping series’s recently! I find myself getting excited to see the next episode later that day!
I will stop rambling now and I send a hug to everyone 🤗2
