Reports are chosen at randam. It's nothing for you to worry about. It just means they are checking the assessor did their job correctly.

@Anth22- same here, asked about conditions, consultants, diagnoses, records, hospital stays, appointments etc. I even interrupted him and asked, “ is pip dependent on how my conditions affect me, or all this evidence?” He said it was how it affected me. So I basically asked him why all the questions on evidence was needed? He just repeated it was about how I felt and how it affected me. It’s very tricky to negotiate. Only when I pressed him, did he stop asking for ‘proof.1

I've still heard nothing from capital and I rang PIP who said they still haven't got my assessment report and suggested I chased capital up.0

When reports are in audit there's no timescales how long they will remain there but it won't be returned to DWP until the audit has been completed. My daughters PIP report was in audit a few years ago and it was there for 6 weeks. Frustrating but there's nothing you can do.

Ita a pain poppy so much stress waiting to hear back 3 times capital rang me and I've always rang them back to be told it was probably the assessor and still no call back from them. Why ring 3 days in a row and then nothing for the past 2 and bit weeks.0
-
As it's in audit they are most likely ringing to check a few things. It can happen when it's in audit.

Thank you again poppy I just find it confusing that capital tried to ring me 3 days in a row then for the last few weeks nothing. I spoke to them again yesterday and put that to them and the stress this is causing me the man I spoke to said my assessment was till in audit and not to worry as that's to my advantage but it don't feel that way.0

It doesn't mean anything other than it's in audit. When it's in audit if there's some issues with the report that need to be verified then they will ring you.The problem with audits is that there's no timescales how long they will remain there. The report can't be returned until the audit it completed. I remember when i first claimed PIP for my daughter in 2017 her report was in audit for 6 weeks.Hopefully it won't be too much longer before it's returned.1
