When will I get my first LCWRA payment

To be clear, it's the date you actually provide the fit note that counts, not the date it's accepted.

Perfect thank you all. Hopefully I will find out soon if I'm gonna be awarded lcwra and this give me insight on what I should be looking at receiving 🙂

Hi everyone so just an update and another question
I got my decision letter yesterday and have been awarded lcwra.
When should I expect to receive any back date owed?

If you reported you health condition on 19th March, which is the start of March/April assessment period. (AP) Then your waiting period will be March to June… LCWRA starts from AP 19th June to 18th July and first payment will be 25th July.
If you reported it on the same date you provided your first fit note then your first payment will be 25th August.
Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly payment and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.
