What are you in the mood for @tigertracey74? Also, is there anything you don't like in a book?1
-
@tigertracey74 My favourites are (1) The D I Kim Stone books by Angela Marsons if you like police procedurals, You don't necessarily need to read them in order but i would recommend you do to see how the characters develop, so i would start with First Blood, (2) The Cormoran Strike books by Robert Galbraith (JK Rowling) about a Private Detective, same as Angela Marsons reading order, (3) Orphan X Series by Gregg Hurwitz, about a retired Government Sanctioned Assassin, Definitely read in order, (4) Anything by Kate Atkinson, The Jackson Brody Series, Another P I, need to be read in order, but the others any old order (5) Rizzoli & Isles series by Tess Gerritsen, about a Boston Detective and Medical Examiner, read in order, And finally the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson, about Lisbeth Salander a Computer Hacker, Over 50 books there let me know what you think, also if you can recommend anything you think i would like please let me know.0

@Hannah_Scope I like true crime and true story and o e that get u on edge of your seat and can't put it down lol0
-
There is a great author called Mitzi Szereto who has these books that are a compilation of true crime stories. Really good
As for edge of your seat and can't put down, I really liked The Cloisters by Katy Hays which has a tarot / mystic / historic undertone.

@tigertracey74 Have you seen the murder mystery cold case games?0
-
@Hannah_Scope no I can't say I have0
-
They are great. You can pick them in in some toy shops or The Range or order online on Amazon. You are given a cold case, all the statements, clues, evidence reports...etc and you basically solve the cold case.1
-
I will look out for them0

I've now finished The Girls Who Disappeared by Claire Douglas, was very good!
Now reading Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie1 -
Hi @CountryMimi I also love reading. It’s always been a way to chill out for me. Since having less use of my limbs it’s one activity that I can enjoy just as much as before. I read on Kindle as it’s much easier to hold and turn pages as well as listening to audiobooks.
I agree Beth O’Leary books are fantastic, so uplifting.1 -
I've just started Linwood Barclay Find you first he's a very good author and really enjoy his books.2

@Hannah_Scope How incredible! Not having to put your heating on thanks to a large book collection - this might convince my husband that we should keep my beloved paperbacks despite me no longer reading them.0
