Hi there, I have ongoing health concerns, and just thought it might be nice to meet some new people, friends, and maybe share some new ideas, etc. I live in the city and although it’s busy, I don’t get much chance to get out and about, so it would be really lovely to meet with people who understand, etc. Hope everyone is enjoying the start to the autumn season, too.

Thanks Andy, it’s so lovely to receive your welcome. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. I’m doing ok, despite adverse weather conditions, and I’m going to try a seated yoga online class in a few weeks. In the meantime, I’ve been watching some online videos, from a girl who’s a book influencer, as I really enjoy reading literature, and a French paper artist girl, as I’m really also interested in art, and I really like a bit of painting and drawing etc. Do you have any interests yourself at all? Well, thanks again, and I also hope that you are enjoying the beginning of the autumn season, and when I can eventually work out how to adequately navigate the Coffee Lounge, hopefully we can catch up there too. Hey @Tia19 and a big welcome from me too!
If you're a fan of the written word, I highly recommend checking out the book nook as there's lots of us who love getting lost in the pages. And there's plenty of us who love a bit of art and show off our works here.Albus (he/him)

Thanks Albus, I will try to look at the things you’ve recommended. It’s nice that you took the time to let me know about them. I’m reading a historical fiction novel just now, and it’s proving really good, so far. And if I feel confident eventually, I’ll try and think about posting some of my art work. Thanks again, and please enjoy the rest of your weekend. Tia19

Not a problem at all @Tia19 and thanks for the thanks.
I'm still fairly new here, but everyone here is lovely and friendly, so don't feel too nervous about getting involved in the chats. I know some of the other mods would love to hear about your latest reads.Albus (he/him)

Hi @Tia19 - & welcome to the community from me also. I'm another bookworm, & we used to have an antiquarian & secondhand bookshop. My spare bedroom is my library, unfortunately my son thinks it's his as well, & some of his books have taken up residence for over 3 years, tho it was only supposed to be 3 months. At least i get to borrow some of his books! Here's some exercises that I found a while ago developed by Canadian therapists. You might like to try some. There's Tai chi & Qi Gong as well as yoga showing modifications dependent on ability in many exercises.

Tia19 Good to hear from you. Weekend has been ok. England hot a narrow win in the Rugby yesterday which was good. Though Samoa were the better team. Apart from that the weekend has been difficult. I have my mobility issues and pain following a car accident when in the police a number of years ago with things getting worse and worse.... Then a month or so ago a specialist at the hospital informed me that I had chronic liver disease and chronic pancreatic and my liver is swollen... So all in all I have been better but life is a struggle and this weekend is just like that. A struggle. However speaking to the people in the coffee lounge about many things helps. As to what do I do in my spare time I like Rugby, Reading, Writing, Music and many other things.
Anyway take care and look after yourself.
