Yes it’s always best to keep your medication in your hand luggage, incase the worst happens and your case goes missing at least you’ll have your medication.2 -

Ada said:I have a hospital eye appointment on the 5th. And like the last four years it would be another hospital appointment that I cannot go. Because It would cost £50 each way in a taxi and I cannot get car or ambulance service. Because they say I live to far out.
But mr went searching during the night and found that a certain optician does the same diabetic test in our valley.
I can’t believe the doctors never told me in these last years. They know my situation I have missed so many hospital appointments. Including heart consultants and a few other physical illnesses.
And Doc knows diabetes has worsened my eyes a great deal in recent years.
Doc knows that the local optician can do these test.
Mr says it’s probably because they will charge the nhs more.
But it’s still wrong.
Morning Rant Over xx

Thats shocking you had to miss so many appointments, glad your partner found an optician that does it. Will you phone them this morning.

Morning all.
Dry,sunny and freezing here.1 -
Mr Teigr's mother would've waited years for an eye appointment at the hospital @Ada if she hadn't found out that she could get all the tests done at the optician's.
The optician also contacted the hospital and got her an appointment for the condition to be treated.
I don't know why they have to make everything so difficult for people.2
