    @Sandy_123
    Thats good you got your meds list sorted. Remember a coffee break in between your rushing about.

    My machine has been working fine since last night so I’m hoping it’ll last till my appointment on Thursday. I think the more it beeped yesterday the more I was getting stressed out. I don’t know if when I was turning it off then back on I wasn’t leaving it off long enough to rebut itself. So🤞🏾 it’s all ok now.

    @Teigr
    That was good your mother in law found out about the optician as it’s much easier to get an appointment with them. We have the same weather as you just now. I hope your good.

    @66Mustang
     Hi I hope your having a nice morning.

    @Hannah_Scope

    I’ve had a quiet weekend just taking it easy.

    @Amberpearl
    Hi I hope your problems with your ears settled down a bit for you, and hopefully you hear from pip soon.

    I have a hospital eye appointment on the 5th. And like the last four years it would be another hospital appointment that I cannot go. Because It would cost £50 each way in a taxi and I cannot get car or ambulance service. Because they say I live to far out.
    But mr went searching during the night and found that a certain optician does the same diabetic test in our valley.
    I can’t believe the doctors never told me in these last years. They know my situation I have missed so many hospital appointments. Including heart consultants and a few other physical illnesses.
    And Doc knows diabetes has worsened my eyes a great deal in recent years.
    Doc knows that the local optician can do these test.
    Mr says it’s probably because they will charge the nhs more.
    But it’s still wrong.

    Morning Rant Over xx
    You should be able to claim the cost of the taxi back. It can be more complicated when it is a taxi and not public transport but it is possible. https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/help-with-health-costs/healthcare-travel-costs-scheme-htcs/

    I did this when I was referred to a hospital with a specialism quite a long way from my home

    I went in my own car so they just paid a flat rate per a mile which paid about half what it cost but still better than nothing and appreciated

    They did mention if you go in a taxi they offer a full reimbursement (so would have been cheaper for me but I can't really use taxis)

    @lou67 Well thank you! Glad to hear you are taking it easy <3

    @Sandy_123 I have many in my family who say 5 minutes and an hour later I'm still waiting :D

    @66Mustang I'm sorry you have been feeling so low, what have you got planned for today? Going on a drive?

    @beaver79 Oh no :( I hope the bug goes quick and you feel better soon!

    @Beaver79
    Oh keep an eye on your BP that’s what’s probably making you feel so cold, fill a hot water bottle I swear by them. If your BP is no better later I think you should phone the doctor.
    Oh yes I’m keeping my fingers crossed the machine behaves itself till Thursday lol

    @Sandy_123
    Oh that’s even better the hotel provides toiletries, are yous all inclusive then.
    I hope you had a coffee while your waiting.

    Thanks @Lou67 for being so kind and offer to PM :blush: I'm glad the hot water helps, it's funny how some people find cold helps and some people like the heat

    Thanks @Beaver79 and sorry to hear you have a bug, is low BP common for you? I think there is a chart on the NHS site that says at which certain thresholds you should start to get concerned.

    Thanks @Hannah_Scope, yes hopefully a drive today :blush: that always is nice to do (what are you doing today (apart from being on here :blush: )?

    @Beaver79
    Glad you feel a bit warmer, just keep an eye on your BP.

    @Marydoll5
    Thank you it was a big relief as the longer this is in the better the chance off healing.
    Hopefully once your out and about you’ll feel more awake, nothing worse than a broken sleep.
    My friend next door text to ask if I fancy going a drive and pick up some shopping so that was nice as I’m needing a few things.

    @66Mustang
    Oh your more than welcome remember you have plenty off good friends on here. Enjoy your drive.
    Oh yes it’s definitely heat that helps my pains.

    Maybe some of you have felt like I do and can help me. I feel like since I was medically retired and children fled the nest I have no real purpose in life.

    Being a carer  wasn't planned and I wasn't looking to do anything else  before this.

    Maybe that's why I struggle to get through basic necessary tasks.....I blamed depression but I could have made this empty feeling come myself

    Gosh I'm not full of the joys today and don't mean to bring anyone down
