Using respiratory support (CPAP, non-invasive ventilation/NIV or similar).....

Are you a parent of a child (with cerebral palsy) who uses (has used) breathing support (like CPAP or similar devices) at home when asleep? Or has tried to use such breathing support?
If so, then we would like to hear about your journey!
Sleep, and breathing issues in sleep (i.e. sleep apnoea) can be really challenging for children and parents. Using breathing support (like CPAP or similar) can also be a difficult journey.
We want to know how you felt! What helped? What didn't?
And what would have been helpful to know before you embarked on this journey!
Above all, we hope your experiences will help children and their families in the future facing a similar journey.
If you are keen to share your experience, then do get in touch with us (rajkumar.dhandayuthapani@nhs.scot) to find out more!
