Hello would love some help to understand about the new UC lcwra and pip changes coming soon I get all 3 and see they taking away lcw and lcwra in the year 2028 how can this affect me as I was given in January 2025 a infinity awarded for my lcwra and under it say about 10 years so what means it gets looked at again in the year 2035 if I'm correct but if it's being scrap in 2028 what well happened to the last 7 years on it?

Also I seen about pip where you have to now get 4 points for the Daly living I got 2 on some of them that add up to 10 points that give me lower end of pip and I got the full 12 points for mobility on just one out of the 2 as the other 1 got nothing and that ends in 2028 sometime I know by then I be in my 40s and my health is bad now I can't handle bits as of now so don't want to even think of what 40 plus me is going to be like but like everyone right now I am concerned and I seen all the people saying that most of the people on pip don't want to work and sit on there back side all day getting as they call it free money and that really irritates me as I work for years to I had a injury at work and then my health as decided over the years along with my mental wellbeing so I did work I can't no longer do it and I hope that that someone that is working making good enough money then losing it all and having no choice but to go on benefits it's a big change like I can't afford what I could when I was working at a full time wage

Any way sorry going of topic there as anyone have any ideas on what to expect going forward any help on this matter would be greatfall

Evening @tommy25. We understand you have lots of questions and concerns regarding the new green paper announcement, so we've created this discussion for everyone to talk about it here - The Green Paper Discussion

We'd prefer to keep the conversations regarding this all in one place, so as to protect the mental health of all on the community, so we will be closing this discussion. I hope you understand. 🙂
