Well yesterday my daughter aged 22 broke down with chronic anxiety about the benefit cuts although she has a few health conditions including autism she was refused pip a couple of years ago and took it to heart saying they think I am lying so refused to go through the process anymore she is doing her modern history masters and working part time masking 80 per cent of each day ,She is worried about how we will cope with less money coming in once everything stops and how it will impact my health too she is scared for the future as everything seems so hopeless I have tried to reassure her that we always get by somehow and have told her that scope and many other organisations are trying to help and support us her response was I’m delusional as what chance has she got at getting a full time graduate job and finding suitable accommodation she wants to live independently but now thinks she will need to stay at home to support me financially I hate seeing her so worried and stressed and am worried about her future too but really try to reassure her to my best ability

We've created a discussion for everyone to talk about it here and ask their questions - The Green Paper Discussion

We'd prefer to keep the conversations regarding this all in one place, so as to protect the mental health of all on the community, so we will be closing this discussion. I hope you understand.
