Sheffield University. Recruitment for Adults with CP. Online, In Person
Known networks of patients for a workshop about digital health technologies
Researchers at the University of Sheffield are asking adults with Cerebral Palsy to help them develop better tools to measure movement and walking. We're planning a workshop for people with a lived experience of cerebral palsy in adults including both people with a diagnosis along with a trusted family/friend/carer. We'd like to talk about where they see digital technologies playing a role in health care and their lives and what might be barriers to this. We're keen to gather a wide range of opinions from people with a diverse experience and backgrounds.
This workshop may be held in-person at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre, Sheffield (S9 3TU) but it will be possible to join online remotely. It will take 2 hours, though we will take comfort breaks and refreshments will be available for people attending in-person. We can support participants' travel expenses/ wifi costs and will give people who take part vouchers worth £25 per hour.
Dr Ellen Buckley is the lead researcher. For more information, please read the following details.
