A week of no t'internet and trying to keep myself occupied, I tried to copy something I saw on YouTube a while ago. Never believe something is easy until you try it yourself. I'm not entirely happy but the boss is … seems a lot of work for a downstairs toilet 😐️

Epoxy Resin, boats from TEMU, real sand from the beach and plinth made from a shelf the local Junior school was throwing away and rescued from a skip 😊

@Rosie_Scope and @Holly_Scope thanks. It was fun, if stressful at times … when you have a leak and the resin starts to pour out… not good for a faffer like me 😁

Now it's cured properly it's all been worth it and another experiment to tick off the list.

If I don't replace my wife's waxing sticks (used to mix and twiddle) before she notices they're gone … stress will have a capital S 😉

I must admit I wish I'd started this years ago … when I was more able, less decrepit and had access to free timber. Making something from a tree I'd cut down, milled and dried would have been something to be proud off

Looks like there's lot of variety with it too which would keep me interested. Will you do more, do you think? Or have you already got your eyes on your next experiment?
