Today (well last night) I broke my iPad by falling asleep on it the screen is completely shattered, like a spider web pattern shatter.
I took out insurance when I purchased it so the excess is £39 to get it fixed so not the end of the world, but annoying! At least I get a trip to the nearest city and maybe will buy some new shoes and spend a John Lewis voucher I got for Christmas.
The issue I have is that I need my iPad (for YouTube/music/podcast etc.) to get to sleep to combat my obsessive thoughts which keep me awake. I need it right up until the point I drift into sleep and by that time I'm too asleep to put it away on the table so I sometimes end up falling asleep on it.
Any solutions are appreciated if anyone has had a similar problem!0 -
@66Mustang oh no, can you watch them on your phone till its fixed? Or use a TV in your room to watch. I think be handy if your bed is by a wall to fix a device on the wall that holds your ipad

So when u fall asleep it won't drop i might get 1 these my self0 -
That's a brilliant idea, thanks, I will definitely look into something like that
I have my laptop while the iPad is getting fixed so that's OK, and long as I don't break that haha!!!0 -

Morning @Sandy_123, good morning @lisathomas50 (or is it afternoon, depending on your shift and sleep patterns?)
Hope you're both doing OK and looking forward to a nice day after you've done whatever jobs you've got to do?0 -
I just got back from the Apple shop. They gave me a whole new iPad I just had to pay an excess fee of £39.

@66Mustang I having coffee at the moment, then be tottering about the house putting things away, then pop to the shop. Then afternoons mine.
Good luck at your check up0 -
That sounds like a nice day @Sandy_123
My check up went well but I have been advised to buy an electric toothbrush. There seems to be loads of them on the market all with different features - it is quite daunting to choose one. I will have to do some research into it!
