Well helloooo everyone, it's been a long time since I ventured on this thread! How are you all doing and what have you been up to?
On my days off I've been busy emptying our spare room to make way for the nursery and I tell you what, it's revealed how much stuff we've been keeping that we'd forgot about/never use Cue many trips to charity shops!
I hope you've all been keeping ok and are having a nice, relaxing weekend0 -
Hi @Cher_Scope aww a nursery, makes it reality. Had a nice weekend, just chilling, had workmen in all week, there back tomorrow. Been to hospital for a quick chest xray, now going to tidy up.0
-
That sounds exciting @Cher_Scope
I've just gotten back home from being away for a few days now I am trying to decide whether to eat some fudge or not

Feeling a bit, not 100%, today. I know no one ever feels 100% but hopefully you know what I mean. I have cold symptoms and tummy ache and am really fatigued, just walked the dog for a half length walk and it really wore me out. I used a Covid test and it said no Covid so that's good at least.
How is everyone else today?0 -
Hope your feeling better @66Mustang1

My day has been good today0
-
@serenity107 that's good I've been watching my grandkids for the day and I'm shattered0
-
Well I had 2 teeth pulled out on Monday morning I was glad I had lots of numbing done, I only took 4 pain killers that day, I'm not in pain anymore so that's great. Went shopping with my Mum and Dad in the Gyle0
-
Nice 1, I need to make dentist appointment0

I am either working or looking after my mum as she is now liveing with me permantly it's hard work sometimes not all the time
I know it sounds daft but my mum wants to be out all the time and thsts the hard part as it's every day she can't stay in lol so we are out from around 10am and dint get home until as late as 8pm sometimes but never earlier than 5pm
The carer takes her out and they walk for three hours have lunch walk for another 2 hrs and have a drink then make their way back to my house lol
I am doing my studying at night for 3hrs Monday to Thursday and I work 2 nights where the carers come in and the carer takes my mum out on Tuesdays where I get time to spend with my partner which goes to quick lol
Thats going to be basically my life from now on lol
I cant grumble still getting to do my studying and sometimes I enjoy going out but just wears me out a bit lol ?0 -
Aww, sounds like you are busy, glad you have a carer for your mother, have a great Thursday0
-
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling too great @66Mustang, make sure you take it easy and look after yourself. Hopefully you will feel better soon
I'm quite well thanks, I had a good night of sleep so that has set me up nicely for the day.1 -
Thanks @Sandy_123 and @Ross_Scope
@lisathomas50 sounds like you have a lot of work on your hands! I hope you are able to take time out for yourself as well

@66Mustang I have 7hrs on a Tuesday bit it goes realy quick lol I am always tired and worn out it's getting the balance right I have a cleaner now zo thats one less thing to worry about
We don't have volunteers here who could help in wolverhampton a volunteer used to take her out once a week and was in day center the rest of the time but she didn't like the day center as she couldn't go out
So I work 2 nights and carers come in which my brother has authorised to pay from mums money but I pay for Tuesday I could do with one more day where someone can take her out but can't afford it lol
Mum cant get help from social services because she has to much money but my brother is power of attorney0
