Thanks @Tori_Scope
Just so say I’m back safe and sound, the traffic in London is awful, but we got there
I collected a new watch today which I’m really excited about as I love watches as much as I love cars0 -
Nice 1 @66Mustang nice to treat yourself1
-
@Libby_Scope it's a regular analogue, mechanical watch but its feature of note is that the case and bracelet are made of solid bronze. I really like it as it's a great change from the usual stainless steel watches!

I have an awful cough today…A bit scared to go anywhere as people seem to look at you for coughing at the moment and I don’t like to draw attention to myself0
-
@66Mustang hi I'm very tired today, but it's my mum's birthday so just chilling out x0
-
@Tammyjane33 happy birthday to her, have a good day sorry to hear you are tired, I hope you feel better soon.

Morning all how are we on this fine day. I've booked a tour of houses of Parliament for tomorrow at 6pm. It goes through the rooms and a history tour with a guide, on line with Microsoft teams. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love history and it's free.1
-
@Sandy_123 that sounds great, do you get to ask questions, or is it a one way presentation? Even better that it’s free. I think the history is to be appreciated. I’m not interested in what goes on in the houses today but agree the buildings and history are interesting.

Yes @66Mustang they allow time after to ask questions. The building is fabulous. I went a walk around Westminster Abbey a few years ago. Really nice inside, saw All the old Kings and Queens tombs who are buried there.1
-
@Libby_Scope sorry to read you had the dreaded virus, glad your feeling better0
-
Sorry to hear it got you @Libby_Scope but glad you are back0
-
Yes thanks, it was good, though I find it a bit intense especially with certain relatives so was in some ways glad to get back to normal. It was nice overall though!
Did you manage to have a decent Christmas or did you have Covid over that period?0 -
Hi @66Mustang
I am glad you had a good holiday. Do you want to talk about the intense with certain relatives? It sounds difficult! If you do, we are here for you0 -
@L_Volunteer thanks for asking, it’s nothing serious though, just an elderly relative who gets very grumpy combined with my inability to cope with certain social situations. It’s not really intense for most people, just I found it intense if that makes sense!0
-
Hi @66Mustang
Thanks for clarifying your situation, that makes sense. Though, I am sure it is not just you. These sorts of situations can be frustrating for a lot of us! I am glad you still managed to enjoy your holidays though1 -
How's everyone this chilly morning? Having my morning coffee, sad to find out meatloaf has passed.0
-
Hi @Sandy_123
I’m not too bad, just have all the normal anxieties, hopefully I get to relax later.
What about you?0 -
Hopefully you can relax, I'm alright got house to myself all weekend0
-
Nice and quiet then0
-
That's nice @Sandy_123 Today I'm working here (obviously!), but later I plan to watch the old Christopher Reeve 'Superman' film with my partner, who has never seen it if you can believe it!
How are you doing now it's the afternoon @66Mustang?0
