Hi everyone I had my eye appointment its what I thought I have to have another operation  they will try and do it in next three months bit scared now because they said there are risks but I  said I can't see out of my right eye any way so it will be a bonus if the operation works

Thanks @janer1967 😊  I don't normaly say anything but I am a bit more scared now but I will get my head round it

@Libby_Scope I treated myself to lush bath bombs and new tracksuits and pjs from primary and got presents for my mum and her friend I couldn't belive Joe's ice cream parlour has closed down I walked from the hospital to town thsts how I found out

@Sandy_123 thank you for always being there for me your a good friend the weather was lovely and I was takeing advantage of haveing a break from my mum and her friend lol  but I brought presents for them

I will be ok once I can get my head round things

Surgery is always a worry, but you will be in good hands, they probably do several of these opts a day.  Like Jane says great if it gives you site back.

I'm still waiting to be put forward for cataract surgery but consultant reluctant due to it being my only eye with any sight and the risk associated with any surgery

Morning all, I've had my b12 today, only thing is I have to walk across a huge field to get to drs. So I'm  now chilling with a huge coffee.
I did bump into someone I know so had a nice chat.

Chilling with a coffee sounds nice @Sandy_123, I had a mug of it this morning and it always sets me up nicely for the day ahead.

Coffee does indeed sound good! Though tea is my favourite. I hope you can rest now after that trek across the field @Sandy_123. Glad you bumped into someone you know and managed to have a nice chat  :)

The future looks bleak today. The UK energy price cap hiked by 54% and rent rising by 4.1%. The rent increase is paid for (deducted) out of my TP formerly known as the SDP which will be a redundant benefit, in time. I haven't had my Council Tax bill, yet, ( my Council doesn't do free Council Tax ). I'm just left wondering what sacrifices to make and where. That's a difficult choice when you are one of the most 'vulnerable' in society? Nothing a good cry won't put right?

Morning, I shall save on gas as just had a knock on the door , me thinking it was post man with my parcel, open it looking a mess, two people told me there changing all the gas pipes in the street soon, zlso the pipes that go into my gas meter, no gas from 8am to 6pm. It runs on for up to nine weeks. Looks like sandwiches as cookers gas.  :(

try to go with the flow @androgynous there isn't much we can do about it, the only positive thing about it is the biggest hike in fuel bills will be in Oct gives us a little time to try and save a bit extra. Hopefully we will have an early long hot summer to help us do this. x

Hi Sue. It's 1.00 and so far my day has been good.  We are having a roast dinner tonight as i want to watch the Man. Utd match on  Granada tonight so did it this morning.   My husband is not a football fan (or any sport fan) so he will do the rest.  Packed my knitting bag for club tomorrow, sorted my knitting needle bag out as my needles were all over the place. Next job write my pattern out so i keep the pattern clean and then finally back to my knitting.  How was your day?

Hope you have rested and feeling a little better.  I seem to overdo it on Thurs when we go shopping.  I don't like going in my wheelchair any time much prefer my walker or stick if going to my clubs.  By the time i get home i feel tired so my husband puts the shopping away makes us both a sandwich and drink before he takes me to colouring club.
