@woodbine hope your eyes get better soon I got my eye hospital appointment tomorrow and I am scared0

How lovely to read you've been to Burry Port. I've never been there, but, as I've mentioned before, it was where my mother-in-law was born. When we lost her, it was a great coincidence to have an English vicar who knew the area well. She was incredibly proud to be Welsh, & this vicar had no hesitation in playing 'Land of My Fathers.' & 'All Through the Night,' by a Welsh male voice choir at her funeral in Geordie land.Just lost her younger half sister last November.... her daughter became a physio because of me, & I'm incredibly proud of her.I wondered if you'd taken photos, Lisa. Thank you for posting them. Hope all goes well tomorrow with your eye appointment..0

I have a few photos I love Bury port where I went where the lighthouse is just as you go into the lighthouse house carpark there is a pink cafe and the food is so nice and they make posh drinking choclate and coffee lol I had a big bun with sausage egg and hash browns and I had a Turkish delight hot choclate its a beautiful place and lovely walk along the path going past some lovely caravan sites0

We went today to take my mind off my eye appointment I know they will want to operate again and thsts why I am scared and I know they will put me straight in to do it so thsts why my mums friend is here0

Sounds like you, your Mum, & her friend had a lovely day. If you have any more photos of the area, I'd love to see them. My children's cousin is Matthew Jones (born in Llanelli), who was briefly a Leeds Utd footballer, then had to retire due to injuries. He's some 6 years older than my son, who was very pleased to receive a signed photo of him when he was younger.0

Ah yes, I can see that you mentioned that in your other reply now @lisathomas50! Apologies. I'm not a fan of Turkish delight to be honest, but I have to say that hot chocolate does look tasty. It must be lovely to have a nice hot drink by the beach0
