    making my first special meal here for mum tonight - butterfly lamb (not had before), dauphinous pots and all the trimmings of a roast

    yorkshire puddings and roast pots a plenty for mum

    mum loved her roast said was best meal she ever had ha ha she says that every time

    pleased she liked it

    melt in middle pudding for dessert with cream

    i only had few slices of lamb - it was truly delicious but very full 

    Got my mum some Thatchers cider to wash it down ha ha and I've got my obligatory can of stella

    Gonna try making a coffee cake later in the week but need some bakeware first

    had two cans of stella and slept for hours not that hungry so had some lovely butter basted turkey breast slces on buttered wholemeal - turkey is good for sleep too haha

    Scrummy, I love a good stew. Mine never taste right and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Cooking isn't my best asset but I don't let it stop me trying.

    reheating the lamb roast I didnt eat, not sure how it will turn out but too bloody expensive to throw out
