@Sandy_123 I know how you feel I sometimes can't motivate myself to cook from scratch especially if it's only for me

Struggle doing much without help now due to my sight I'm getting good at supervising toby though

I need motivation  for everything lately.  At least Toby is learning how to cook, it will serve him well in later life.
Have the visual impairment team any gadgets they can give, I know they have talking microwaves and sensors in cups that bleep when full of water etc

I'm glad to hear it phew, yes bluey was beautiful. British short hair, I rescued him when his owner died. That breed have a lovely soft nature, sadly had to have him put down as he got ill. Heart renching.  If I have another cat I will go for that breed.  My cat before blue was a cross Russian blue. I do adore cats, I have a stray that visits daily for 5 years now.

@Sandy_123 yes I have a few gadgets that help but it's things like chopping , cutting,  weighing and measuring and dealing with hot surfaces and hot dishes

I can't read any cooking instructions on packets or see if things are cooked properly
