Roast Dinner, think you can tell it's my favorite meal by now! Followed by a big slice of Syrup Sponge.

Supposed to be having a tea party today for the jubilee but not sure as unwell yesterday. My sister in law is doing it so see later on.
I hope you do feel better soon :) A real shame to miss out today. I've had a lovely quiet weekend.

Mum's not arrived yet replacement buses cause of the jubilee I'm watching it on TV should have picked her up. I've got through most of a bottle of malbec. Will have roast chicken and the trimmings when she gets here followed by tarte au citron. Starving!

@Sandy_123 I know how you feel I sometimes can't motivate myself to cook from scratch especially if it's only for me

Struggle doing much without help now due to my sight I'm getting good at supervising toby though

I need motivation  for everything lately.  At least Toby is learning how to cook, it will serve him well in later life.
Have the visual impairment team any gadgets they can give, I know they have talking microwaves and sensors in cups that bleep when full of water etc
