The 1984 version of Dune is actually one of my all time top 3 films, I'm a huge fan of the books and did a little happy cry when I saw the Dune 2 trailers last night.
Sis has bought us tickets to see it at the IMAX, but I'll need to beat down my social anxiety to get into a cinema.1 -
Very true they are a great go to on a rainy day!1
-
I hope you manage to beat the anxiety and get to the cinema, @Albus_Scope, i'm planning on seeing it to, i agree @Hannah_Scope its nice on a wet day to be indoors watching a movie,0
-
Thanks @Grinchy, it'll take a bit of diazepam, but I'm determined to go. I hope you get to see it on the big screen too.1
-

so we went out today, visited a church hall for a car boot sale, the usual stuff but found this double 4k set of the evil dead2 and the howling still sealed, the guy had lots of stuff at his table, but i had limited funds so just got this one
the discs play in english and look great1 -
@Grinchy
Wow what an amazing collection it must take you ages to dust 🙂 but I bet you’ve got it down to fine art though. I use to collect fridge magnets of places I’d been which is boring compared to your collection. You have some great memorabilia, keep on enjoying.0 -
So my anxiety and complex ptsd has had me up the wall lately, not really been up to much, but movies have kept me going, my wife surprised me with this set, its my birthday later this month, and she knows i like daft horror flicks
1 -
That's very sweet of your wife @Grinchy, I hope it helps keep your mind under control and gives you a break from your own head for a little while0
-
Looks like your wife knows exactly what you like! I hope the C-PTSD calms down soon @Grinchy, I know what it's like trying to ride out that storm.0
-
thanks folks, yeah she knows me well, thanks for the concern, i'll be ok2
-
So i love the films of kevin smith, the view askew universe, this is the latest from him, and i got it for under 7 pound delivered
can't wait to see it, love his sense of humour, just daft like myself, lol0 -
I do love a bit of Kevin Smith! I've yet to watch Clerks 3 though, I'll be looking forward to a Grinchy review soon.1
-
@Grinchy Have you heard they are looking to do a Halloween TV series based off the original movies?1
