@poppy123456 ah okay no worries. I should be getting me decision soon on my recent claim. I might not get pip as the benifit test have me 6 for daily and 4 for motability. But it all depends on the decision advisor
-
Hope you hear about your decision soon on your recent claim @jamieleehill92. How are you feeling about it at the moment?

@L_Volunteer I called on Friday and they told me that it could be three weeks wait and I should hear back around 14th November but if I hear anything sooner I will let you all know 😊 I feel very anxious because I got my medical report and online scored 6 (care) 4 (motability) so I could score less and not get pip of I could score more and get pip or I the manager will stick with the same points maybe. So mu anxiety is through the roof ATM
-
@L_Volunteer Also they guy told me on the phone to keep checking my bank so he given me false hope
-
jamieleehill92 said:they told me that it could be three weeks wait and I should hear back around 14th NovemberI don't know how someone from a call centre can predict when a decision will be made by. A decision can take between 2-12 weeks once the report is returned. As you were told by 14th November, what would you do if a decision wasn't made by them?jamieleehill92 said:Also they guy told me on the phone to keep checking my bank so he given me false hope
I don't know how that's false hope. Or even how they could possibly know what the decision will be until it's made. Of course if you are awarded then money usually goes into your bank before you receive the decision letter. If you're refused then no money will be paid.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
@poppy123456 well he told me that the my assessment was on the 14th October and it was given to the case manager on the 24th October and then said usually it takes around 2-8 weeks for a decision to be made but he told me it should only take three weeks but keep checking on my bank and a letter after that so that's what I was confused about I'f the decision wasn't made yet.
-
@L_Volunteer @poppy123456 so I just got a text saying "We have not yet made a decision on your PIP claim. We will write to you when we have made a decision. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change" I literally jumped out of my bed thinking it was an award message
-
The timescale is more like 2-12 weeks. I think very often those in the call centre like to tell you what you want to hear. They have started sending more texts which includes the one you received and another saying "we have all the information we need to make a decision" you will also likely receive a letter saying the same thing.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
@poppy123456 wow that sucks, seems like they like to waste paper and scare the hell out of people in the mornings thinking it's an award text 😁 I think I'm just getting my hopes up to much. Hopefully fingers crossed it's good news soon

@poppy123456 @L_Volunteer dos the automated payment line when u press option 6 always tell you. Your payment dates. Does it only tell you if your successful?
-
If you’re refused there won’t be any payment dates to tell you. However you shouldn’t rely on the payment line because it has been known to give incorrect information.
Please try to relax because it could be a while yet before a decision is made.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
@poppy123456 ok thank you. I will try to relax
-

I've just rang it, automated, it just said about basic stuff having to wait etc,,change of circumstances, then cut off, so I presume that means I have no payments 😕 but thank you again, x
-
@Ollyoyster are you waiting for a decision to and how long have you been waiting ?

You will only have payments if there's an award. Haven't you only recently had your assessment? It can take up to 12 weeks for a decision.

Yes it was on the 20th Oct, your right I need to be patient x
-
@Ollyoyster I've been told it's only a couple week wait for a decision so no need to worry 🙂 have u requested your medical report from them. It will give u a rough guide on what you could get (Points wise) for pip
