Me again.
Does the DWP text you once a decision is made in a review or do you just get a letter or maybe both?
Any feedback will be truly appreciated TYI0 -

I've never known a text being sent for review decisions.

Thanks Poppy just getting frustrated now, going to watch a film to try and hopefully forget about PIP for a couple of hours 🙃0

@Binky1234Hi no I didn’t receive a text either just a letter.
I hope you don’t have to much longer to wait.
Goid idea to watch a movie and trying relax.
Take care ❤️0 -
I've just found out that I have been awarded enhanced rate for both living and mobility with review date March 2033.
Also been informed will get backdated money.
Don't know if it's unusual but I went from standard to enhanced and for the last few months I was beginning to regret writing that my health had deteriorated in the review form, so glad I listened to my OT and hubby.
It just goes to show that a review can have a good outcome.

That's great news. Under normal circumstances when DWP start a review they don't usually owe any money if the new award is higher than your previous award.Due to backlogs they are making the decision to owe some people some money if their new award is higher but it doesn't apply to everyone.0

I was shocked as I was actually told if award is higher I would not get it back dated and at the same time if award was lower I would not need to pay back.
Tbh the backdated money is a huge bonus.
Poppy I cannot thank you enough for both your advice and support ❤
I personally don't think you realise just how much you supported me and others on this forum, thanks again x2 -

Again sorry I hadn’t saw this before ❤️1 -
Isn't funny that we dread the post in regards to pip decisions/review and the one time your looking forward to your decision letter the post seems to be slow, maybe tomorrow as backdated money is due tomorrow.
Talk about a watched kettle never boils 😆1 -

So did you get your decision back 14 working days after the assessment. Trying to read back but cannot find this? And wondered what your outcome was.0
