Let's say that they are getting the 6bn from reducing LCWRA from £97 to £47.
Then they will reduce the number of people on PIP and LCWRA by making assessment harder many people will lose both. Then they are stopping LCWRA in line with inflation rates. Then they are stopping claims for under 21 year olds, and people receiving carers and DLA etc will also lose entitlement. Even with the uprate to universal credit benefit to £106 (which they reduced £1, saving them a further £500 million in the statement) it will be a welfare reform of well over £10 billion in my guess. Not to mention the tactic they use to stop people benefits once you are on standard jobseekers allowance or any other way they stop it. The statement by them does not make sense they are lying about it.

Energy bills of over 400 ppm are making it nearly impossible to carry on.
the big wound with me has kicked off, blood does not come out as lower temps
since sunday 56 pounds has been spent just on washing machine/Tumble as the weather's been horrendous. But Rachel claims her energy on expenses imagine if MP's had to pay energy then you would see prices fall.

Sadly, it seems that while parties were formed and fought for similar ideologies supporting disabled people, they didn’t stand the test of time. 😔

What really grinds my gears is how Labour purposely is conflating PIP as an out of work benefit, it is not an out of work benefit and they're doing this purposely to propagandize this view that it's a financial goldmine to have PIP, LCWRA and you get to do nothing and enjoy daytime TV with a cup of tea and bourbon biscuit.
This is a terrible conflation and really shows you how nasty these people are. PIP is an umbrella benefit for people who suffer from disabilities and or long term illnesses which effect their day to day lives, it isn't easy to get and you have to jump through hoops in order to be entitled/awarded.

Its also being reported on bluesky by some doctors
in interviews the numbers being mentioned by ministers they are using figures
from 2010-2023 making the number appear much larger,

The current Government has not laid out its stance on fit note reform, but work and pensions secretary Liz Kendall affirmed support last week for the Work Well pilots, which are ‘trialling new approaches like GPs referring people to employment advisors, instead of signing them off sick’.
It appears they do, indeed, intend to harass and bully people who are unwell.
Speaking from my own experience when I was employed, I had my GP, consultants, psychiatrists, my direct manager, HR, and my employer's Occupational Health Service on my case.
Having to also deal with some 'employment advisor' would have tipped me over the edge.

Hi everyone,
There’s a new video from Noah Nyle , apparently there’s going to be a second green paper regarding the assessment process. I hope this I’m wrong but I think it will be about more face to face . I just hope they’ll still allow phone assessments if not paper based.
Also there’s another petition that’s been start about the cuts , this time by Labour MP Richard Burgon. Sorry I don’t know how to post the link but I found it on benefits and work0 -

JasonRA, yes and no. The rules for Med 3 certification from a GP were amended in 2015/16 to include….healthcare professionals. These proposals are about handing all responsibility to healthcare professionals. See also:

Improperly calling them "pips" as if it were some weird apple-related political weapon…Obvious red flag here…
I noticed that comment too, but there's zero fraud in PIP. And I didn't like the "people will just claim for more serious benefits" as if all PIP claims were fraudulent from the start…With regard to keeping medical records up to date, fine, if you have a medical related disability. Autism isn't one. There is no support in my area for autistic people like me, either - all the support I need I have to rely on from family or friends. Keeping a record is not possible because the services do not exist here.
The last time I had an actual autism worker/mentor was when I was studying, but all the ones that used to be in my area got cut. You only get support for autism now if you are a child or have a co-occurring learning disability. Which is in some ways understandable but doesn't help me much :/

Saw this on X. James Taylor's (Scope) page. I take it the government are not going to wait for the Green Paper responses. It also seems MP's are going to vote on this before we hear from Britain's Economic Watchdog who will not publish the employment impact of these plans until October 2025. (The Guardian).😲

What are they doing to us everyday something I want to knkw what's charities plans we need to have some idea some hope maybe thier covering themselves as first green paper called bogus they really are making this as painful and extremely uncomfortable for us it's disgraceful
