It's interesting that this country has been health and safety mad for many years now except when it come to us, then the gloves are off and it's no holds barred.

It fills me full of fear, opens can of worms. My dad may help me. Thanks

I wondered if you had issues with calling them but didn't want to run the risk of putting you off if I mentioned it. 🙁
I still hope you'll make the call, having your Dad with you is a good idea. Good luck 🤞 🍀

Yep have tried to explain this on here as well, I assume anyone actually preparing a legal challenge will be aware of this as well. The downside of going public too early is of course it would aid the DWP's defense, as it would give them more time.
The same reason Labour told us as late as possible about what they had planned, to reduce our reaction time. I dont believe for one moment they didnt know what they were going to do until March.2 -
Hi and thanks. Yes I always have my answer phone on as I can't do calls out of the blue also talking on the phone isn't something I'm good at as everything goes out of my mind, the same with anything unfamiliar. Thanks.

@waylander9602, Thanks for sharing. When will actually the Labour government stop blaming everything on the previous government and other parties? It’s almost become a Labour mantra for Starmer, Kendall, Reeves & others whenever reporters or journalists ask any tough questions.

That's standard practice for every government - blame the previous government. It gives them free rein to make more uncomfortable changes with the claimed excuse that they are an improvement over the previous incumbents…

Haaa @Wibbles ,True…. But these lot respond to every question with the same answer… and they’ve trained their disciples (MPs) to follow suit. One thing’s for sure-I can see how much they hate being questioned (honestly, it’s hilarious watching their faces twist up!). And yep, true to form, they’ll still be blaming the last lot even if they’re in power for a decade… at this rate, they’ll be blaming the Romans next! 🤔🤔

I don't where some people on here are saying Starmer is going to buckle under. He won't buckle and he will win if you let him, get organised with protests and meeting. Show up in wheelchairs near parliament, get as much media involved as you can, make placards and embarrass the government. Don't keep waiting for others to do it. Don't keep emailing mp's, they'll do nothing till you do something.

He will if the supreme court decide the cuts are unlawful. That would be a day to get flags out and party 🤩

If you still are struggling to email your MP for any reason or worried about not being able to word it in exactly the right way for greatest effect, as I've been doing, here's what I consider a truly excellent template on the Benefits and Work forum. I hope that it might help some of you. 🤞😊
