No way do I want a job coach assessing me I think age does matter

That's why they want to rush through

Well exactly but people saying that might be a plan

Oh come off it, it it wasn't for so called 'sickfluencers' which lets be honest benefitsandwork.com would fall under by the definition, half of us wouldn't have had successful claims, not because we aren't entitled but because the system is designed to break us and make us fail!
This is starting to turn into who folks here think are the deserving disabled and who aren't! I find it very hard to believe anyone could claim benefits without reams of medical evidence

Agreed, to many people talking like mental illness doesn't greatly impact your life, then you take into account medication side effects and it can be a good day if you function for three hours

worried, If I am right you mean the planned removal of LCW/LCWRA in their entirety?
Labour in Opposition supported the removal of LCW from disabled claimants in 2015 (not Starmer or Corbyn and his allies, obviously)
The media went quiet but DWP didn't stop there and 10 years later, Labour Ministers are pretending these are new plans to help support disabled claimants back into work. These plans are nothing to do with claimant needs or the economy; just a cover-up for IDS' scam through his 2011 amended ESA regulations!
😠

AI is saying the opposite:
In 2015, while in opposition, Labour did not support the removal of the Limited Capability for Work (LCW) component from disability benefits, but rather opposed the government's proposals to change the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) and the removal of the LCW component.

This was said by Liebour Party Ed Miliband 2013:
“Liam Byrne, and his leader, Ed Miliband, have been criticised by disabled campaigners over the last two years for mirroring some of the hostile rhetoric that has come from sections of the media and the coalition.
Some activists saw an improvement in tone and content at last year’s Labour conference, although Miliband again used his main conference speech to suggest that many disabled benefit claimants were choosing a life on social security rather than finding jobs”
that’s the only thing I could find regarding LCW.
the rhetoric used then by Ed Miliband’s gang is the same used today.I wonder if that changed when Corbyn took over

I'm meeting with an MP at some point (Iain Duncan Smith) to ask about the Spring Statement. I know he's not Labour but he's my local MP so there's only so much he could do, maybe reassurance or support?
It's just been hitting me that I don't actually know what to ask/say to him regarding the Spring Statement. I know what points that I want to make but don't know how to make them.
Just wondering if anyone may have any ideas of how I could start the conversation with him or what I could ask of him.

If you have anything like the 15 year gap in your CV, Catherine, as I do, then short of a government placement, there is no chance of securing a job. It is a total fantasy for HMG to claim otherwise.

I don't know .

I think the MSM are the biggest liars ,I don't like getting into politics, but personally I see Trump putting everything right , he's putting his own country first and that's what our leader should do . I think the world has been run by bad people for far too long and I have more faith in Trump than anyone , and usually what America do the world follows .
Just out of interest what inequality do you mean ?

Ask his former creditors in New York what kind of a guy he is.

how much is he worth ? plus if you or him were offering me financial advise I know which one I'd listen to .

Stop staying informed, and listen to random guys on social media? Sadly this is exactly what many are choosing to do these days.
I guess you will just have to do what feels right for you.

Maybe your contact is recovering from agoraphobia. Alternatively, being out all day on his own might be his manifestation of agoraphobia and related anxiety disorders.

If people haven't noticed by now that ''MSM' lie through their teeth constantly then they must be asleep .
