I think everything going on with world leaders will come to a halt , I'm bored of it all . I believe our government are puppets , controlled and saying what their master tells them . Look at the reaction to the latest proposals , everyone in uproar . This is not the place for my thoughts though . But I've always suspected we are just watching a movie and the movie sucks , its like you cannot leave the theatre .

They say that you need 4 points in any one category to receive standard rate PIP - But I see NO 4 points available in ANY category - I agree, extremely concerningβ¦..

Hi your link isn't working.

i think it's just highlighting the scores of less than 4 β¦.
for example preparing food β¦ there's no question about not been able to cook food without assistance or the ability to use a cooker and microwave which is a 4 pointerβ¦.
clickbait article from a local rag i'd say!

Just a note to try to be kind about other people's communication styles where possible please. Everyone has different strengths and abilities and it's not always easy to know what's going on in someone else's life or how their conditions affect their communication.
I hope that the intention wasn't to offend here, but just remember to stay civil and supportive to other members. I've seen some brilliant support for each other on this discussion, so I hope we can move forwards with continued respect even if we don't always agree on everything π

The tribunals will be overloaded too. But I wouldn't be surprised if Labour ban tribunals for pip. That's probably the next thing. The nasty party that they are.

Hi @Passerby, I can see that you may just be trying to help and offer advice, but please can we leave it there? It can feel quite upsetting to have someone correct your writing if you have difficulties in that area, especially if that's something you've experienced a lot over the years and have negative feelings associated with it.
It can be quite distressing for some and it's not always simple to make changes to your writing when you live with dyslexia or other similar disabilities. As I said just now, it would be great to move on from this now and respect each other's differences.

Thanks for the tip off about the about this Great British National Strike next month @Catherine21
I'm about to watch a video by the organizer. Too right we are all under attack from the very people we elected to serve us. π‘ We all need to show our great disapproval of what is happening to us and about other deeply unfair issues in this country.

I've just been looking into the Great British National Strike, π¬π§ due to take place on Saturday 24th May.π
My thanks to @Catherine21 for telling me about this. π
It is being organised to protest against
PIP /Winter Fuel Allowance Cuts
The cancellation of Net Zero policies.
Illegal Immigration
Inheritance Tax
There being no justice for the girls in the Rape Gang Inquiry
Freedom of Speech being criminalised except if it is used to call for direct violence.
There are protests to attend at many towns and cities that day, but we can contribute in a way that doesn't run the risk of going wrong or not being manageable for us.
Everyone is asked to NOT shop from any large online retailers and large shops and supermarkets that day but to use CASH only to use in your small local shops. Or simply not spend anything that day.
I personally think that is a very effective idea, to deprive the big boys for the day, which will frustrate government too. β
Google The Great British National Strike, as unfortunately links and videos about it keep being taken down. I even tried to put a photo up about it on this post and couldn't get it to work. π³
What a country we live in if legal, peaceful protest is being treated in this way! π‘
Don't let them silence us!! π’
Don't forget, shop differently on 24th May. Every small action that many people take truly stands for something! πͺ

I was one of those that did feel like I was kicked in teeth Sarah and I will never forgive Labour for that, ever. Coming from the background I do, my Great Grandfather, who I posted a pic of on here recently, was one of possibly the first group of local Labour town councillors elected, possibly the first ever in the UK in 1913. ( excuse me if that is a bit incoherent - not feeling the best right now ) My vote for Labour was always something I just had to do, the family roots go deep. I am proud of what my Great Grandfather stood for at that time, working class people in my locality were starting to have a voice and he was part of that voice.
Now I will deface my voting slip as it is just worthless junk, I intend to post it and am fully aware the only person who will see my slip will be the counter who bins it but it will do wonders for me haha, a small, meaningless act maybe, but gosh for just a moment it will be like, kind of returning that ''kick in the teeth'' π

They don't like us standing up for ourselves, do they? π
I hope that this message can get to a lot of people in this country and we will all stop shopping for the day. π It would serves them right and we will have caused something unpleasant to happen to them for once. π€
