Sorry I think I jumped the gun or misunderstood 😌
Like I said above ....
My last reassessment was November 2019 for ESA support group , that was a esa50
I was supposed to be reassessed again in November 2021
So nearly 6 years since a reassessment
Nearly 4 years overdue one
In mid 2022 I vounterally moved to UC from ESA support group
I have since been paid ....
Cbesa support group every two weeks and UC lcwra end of every month
They deduct my cbesa of my lcwra award each month
My understanding was when you were on ESA it was a ESA50 form you fill out
If you are migrated over to UC or voullentatrlly move yourself , when reassessed it will be the uc50 that you will have to fill in and this will cover your ( in my case ) cbesa part and lcwra part ....
I was of the understanding that the forms are identical
So I understand it's just one wca and it's the same one ☺️
I was just worried that because technically I was always been reassessed for ESA it might somehow be different format for lcwra as like I say I haven't experienced a reassessment since I've been on UC ....
I just done the mock test for lcwra to make sure all descriptors were the same as when I had to do the ESA one and they I think they are
I passed with three different , 15 point answers
I also done the new pip one and passed the 4 point criteria
Of course I know that doesn't mean alot
I think what I read on your comment I got completely muddled up with 😌 apologies
So am I right in my thinking of how things are currently ?
And my thinking on what's to come as it stands is
March 2026 cuts for new claims and frozen
Just frozen for existing claimants
Pip new criteria comes into play from November 2026 for new and existing pip claimants only
Wca assessment stays the same until 2028 when upon that time gets abolished and pip criteria takes over as the one main assessment
So I'm just thinking at the moment the biggest thing for me to concentrate on is a wca reassessment that will come anytime between now and 2028

Is there a picture of this questionnaire?, the fact this is being done by post, means social media discussion is restricted as is online version? Is it even official or some scam to get people scared and talking?
Although this government have tried to claim they are distanced from the PIP consultation, I expect every eventual change that gets made will be something that was in the consultation, e.g. the 4 point idea was in the consultation, as was the requirement for medical diagnosis.0 -
My council is Labour, my parents Tory.
Quick comparison.
My most recent referral for new OT never happened, and when I tired to self refer on the phone they refused. Their excuse was a 9 month wait and they have chosen to require a consultant referral. They told me to ring mediquip myself for a new bath lift.
My GP no appointments, but receptionist managed to get a social care guy to ring me back, and he said the council are currently breaking the law, and there is currently a fight between GPs and my council. He is currently trying to get me a OT appointment.
My parents council, my sister was able to refer fine for my disabled Mother, within 3 weeks an OT visited and all work was done. She also tried to refer me, but my council rejects family referrals. Labours way of dealing with high demand is just to cut people off. The evidence is all over the place in my life. Whether its a Labour government or council.
These ideas from Kendall to offload stuff to councils will be a disaster postcode lottery. My experience with Labour running services is they tend to have a very high bar for what they consider vulnerable, hence their targets on PIP and LCWRA, plus the state of my council, as another example my Labour council only lets council house tenants get access to household support funds, no one as owner occupier or private rental can access.0 -
Most immigrants are working, even some asylum seekers work.
People moan about them getting accommodation, clothed and fed, but then moan again when they stealing jobs and so forth.
They have been demonised just as we are getting demonised.
I have never met a muslim moaning about disabled/sick people either, they do their job and keep their head down.4 -

I think Labour and Tory joining up might happen, as they wont want PR. The two parties are quite close to each other now as well.

That would be a devastating blow for all disabled people, given the current positions of both parties on the welfare state.
Both this, and the misinformation about asylum seekers, are threads that come up on far right news feeds on social media which are associated with or supported from/by news outlets that also lean right, as listed by Passerby above.
They are views mostly spread by people who have absolutely no direct knowledge of asylum or asylum seekers or the difficult situations they face. I would also question the legitimacy of that phone call, knowing as I do that no LGA has that kind of funding to support anyone, let alone asylum seekers in their area. In reality, most LGA funding goes on social care, particularly safeguarding of children.
A lot of single asylum seekers are housed in group houses where rooms are available and some of those have questionable conditions. There is a lot of property sharing. We still have people in our area (mostly from Ukraine) who live with sponsors because there is no housing available for them. Some are still housed in hotels in unsuitable conditions. Some are homeless because of what I said above, about asylum seekers being made homeless when granted asylum.Meanwhile, Councils make housing benefit reductions and rent reductions for a lot of disabled residents whose circumstances mean they cannot pay full rent or council tax. And if you hit up google you will doubtless find far right outlets groaning about this as an exploitation of 'proper tax payers'' money - even though you know and I know that it is perfectly sound to support residents with limited income to keep them in their homes.
Most of the disinformation around asylum seekers and disability come from the exact same sources - the far right media and especially social media outlets. In other words, these are the same people who have been spreading rumours and stories about us as disabled people without any direct knowledge of our experiences.
We should not be giving anything they say credence.8 -
Ranald, I know it is! I had spooks in mind when I wrote that 😅

Do you have a link to that phone call? Or recall where you saw/heard it?
I'm a member of many groups who are alert to news of this sort of event, and I've never seen/heard of it.

You should really do more research , you may be shocked to find out every single media outlet are owned by five separate people , that's why their choice of narrative is easily pushed , they can pretty much say whatever they like .
Even things found untrue are seldom retracted .May I say you appear to make the same mistake as many and believe certain media , the ones you trust , have a greater truth than others , they all only say what they want you to hear , but you choose what you actually want to hear .
Please learn to question and research for yourself while you have the chance .

Can you please site any sources of information that back anything you just said .

I have noticed you keep using emotive terms, parrot fashion just like the media ,terms such as asylum seeker , immigrant , you carefully avoid the term illegal , we have a system that deals with asylum and deals with immigration, a system that many use correctly to gain entry to this country , do you think it is fair that system has ground to a halt because of illegal immigrants ? I believe no one has any issues with these people entering the country and being looked after accordingly , though the majority of these people are checked and have the means to support themselves once they enter the country .
The issue most people have are the illegal immigrants , now we have several issues to deal with , we do not know who they are , their past criminality if any ,we do not know if we are supporting human trafficking , because how did they get here ? , we do know they chose to work round a legal system, we do know they are not running for their lives , no war in France , we do know they are taking up recourses , they are obviously being fed , housed, clothed etc .
I would love to do a survey among those who believe these illegal immigrants should be supported , the main points to the survey would be :
1 how many illegal immigrants can you personally house
2 how much of your personal income / savings would you give to support illegal immigrants
3 how much of your personal income would you use to sponsor the daily living of any illegal immigrant
4 would you support an increase in your personal tax payment to pay for illegal immigrants

Here is another relevation to all:
Why do you need a Tribunal:-
I Tribunal is a "last resort" where information sent in by a Claimant for benefits has been looked at, and a Decision Maker for the DWP has made a decision on the availability of a benefit based on what you have sent in.
a) If the Decision Maker decides s/he can make a decision based on that, you will receive that decision.
b) On receiving that decision, the claimant will look at that report and decide whether the report is correct based on the evidence that they (DWP) have.
c) There are now two points raised here, i) Except its content, and send confirmation (via E mail, as electronic) or send a hard copy of your signature in the response forms, that you have excepted its content and no further action is needed.
ii) You do not except its content, and you go through the report, highlighting the "errors" or omissions within that report,
ii. a) You also add what you believe has been omitted with hard copies, (or within the response e-mail) by way of support letters from other parties, on headed paper from people that treat you, (these are files contained within your medical history.) or any medical evidence that has changed either since the form has been submitted, or that you feel should have been included and was not looked at, ( this could be by way of a cyclical event in your treatment, an operation pending, or an operation that has taken place where the results have either been collated with a view of re-visiting the prescribed medication in line with the results or expected results, which, due to the type of operation, a "quick fix" is not the entended result, but on paper would go some way in improving the daily life of the claimant. Cancer being one such operation.
d) That when the report was originally commissioned by the DWP that all evidence would be included and sent to the decision maker, where he would base the initial report based on his experience. This again raises issues as far as the claimant is concernedsince,
a) The claimant may not understand the form sent and would rely on the decision maker to help fill out the form and send in appropiate information, which can be via support letters or medical history.
a. i) The claimant some times when answering such a request, will vet his/her information sent as irrelevant, or not needed, yet when looking at the bigger picture of the claim becomes relevant for the decision maker to understand and make an unbias report about the claimant.
An example is having to get up more than twice to go to the toilet?
Left off the form: How you struggle to get in and out of bed, whether the toilet is up stairs or down stairs, whether because you cannot climb stairs your bedroom is on the ground floor of a 2 story house or 3 story masonette, that struggling to climb stairs, that the property offered is on the third floor where access and regress to the building is required every time you go out, and subsequently this isolates you as you won't go out to compensate.
e) Further information is submitted, where a decision maker will look at the information and then decide whether it warrents a change under the change of circumstances, or that the information supplied is beyond his normal expertise as they are not medically qualified, and would require further support from people that they hire to give a report on the medical information and history supplied, as the "gargon" used by Doctors or the expected results can only be decifered by a Medically trained professional, this would also take into account the medication previously taken and why there was a need to increase or decrease the dosage at that time, or the future, to coinside with the results that the Doctor of medically trained person would be expecting.
This is the basis of every claim:-
Since the System of assessment is being questioned not only by me and SCOPE, but every person that claims a benefit under the "new" Reform Rules and the way that the government suports the benefit system by making cuts based on costings and not the "individual" needs of the claimant. Then I need to question "What am I paying National Insurance" for?
Who supports the claimant when an issue arrises? Since the cause of the problem is the very people that administer the claim from start to finish?
Why do we need a further assessment for benefits when the need for an assessment is to get "medical assistance"
This is incomplete but after a week of how the system works and the recent Judicial review in a tribunal on Wednesday 23rd April. it is time to stop peoples perception of what I ask for and give me the requested information in a PDF format so I can enforce that document with the continual errors made as they say its a legal document used to base all claims on.

Morning everyone,
so I just read more exerts from Lord Ashcrofts book on starmer in the daily mail. I could be wrong but I think this was the source of the talk of rayner quitting. Today they give a picture of starmer , by past colleagues and acquaintances, of being weak and instead of fighting during a court case but trying to go along with proceedings. Apparently easily swayed is the impression I got . If this is true would it be worth us all again emailing him ? He comes across as weak so maybe he could be swayed ? I can’t link it on here as I don’t know how sorry but someone may find it interesting.
