    Hi jul ,

At least with trump people knew what they’re voting for . With starmer he plays the human rights lawyer card , supposed to believe in equality and fairness. Everything he’s bringing in are things he’d have voted down in opposition. He’s a hypocrite and a psychopath .The fires well it interesting on Dan wootton youtube , about a few things starmer . Watch it and see what you think but it’s the rumour going around away from msm .

I've heard the name but didn't know anything about him.

I've looked on Wikipedia and discovered he is exactly what I thought he would be. He's a member of Labour First an organisation of Labour right wingers. He also has a part in the undermining and fall of Jeremy Corbyn.

He'll be for the cuts alright. 😒

That's good. 👍 We must not forget that's happening next year before the proposals for cutting PIP happen. We must note who votes for the cuts and who abstains from voting so we can start work on putting them out of a job.

He’ll be off in a nice new job and the MPs voting for cuts are finished

It just shows you that he has no conscience at all, advocating starvation and death at that scale. The people in Gaza are human beings, like the Israelis and the rest of us.

No wonder he has the attitude he has towards us. 😡

I'm putting quotes about our issues from the Taking the PIP website, called Social Templates on X at the moment. 👍

No, there wasn't an option for a call back. Anyway, I just wasted my time, as they told me at the end that they couldn't amend the appointment and that they could only email the ophthalmology department. The direct line phone number on the appointment letter was in fact the appointments centre's number. I'll go to the hospital tomorrow and talk to them.

You're right there, that's the only good thing you can say about Trump is a least you that what you see is what you get.

Starmer is a deceitful narcissist which I think is worse, in a way, even as bad as Trump is. It's much more difficult to deal with the agenda of a wolf in sheep's clothing, like him than someone brash and boastful like Trump.

I hope she will be gone by then, preferably before that and take her welfare cuts with her. 😤

I've thought that myself. The government leadership always seem to have their futures guaranteed. Somebody like him, would think the back bench MPs are completely expendible. Apparently they can't get a straight answer or treated with respect by him either. 😳

Pat McFadden is a pawn of Blair, like L. Kendall, Y. Cooper, W. Streeting. It's Blair who secured them their current posts. Blair and Co. are the ones running Keir Starmer's Labour behind-the-scenes.

For instance, it was Blair who stopped Angela Rayner from quitting the Cabinet in a row over Labour's housebuilding target. He had intervened and persuaded her to stay on. This shows how important Blair is to Keir Starmer.

The reason why Keir Starmer is still adamant in his damn proposals is that Blair is endorsing them behind the curtain. Have you seen him saying anything about these proposals? G. Brown spoke or wrote an article yesterday. He only spoke about the 2 child benefit cap. He didn't say anything whatsoever about the evil proposals.

Why is Blair running Keir Starmer's Labour behind the curtain, as former Tory prime ministers never did so? Is he helping Keir Starmer?

I don't think his behind-the-scenes power is to help Keir Starmer. To me, it's the other way around, as Blair wants to remain the stand-out election winner of Labour forever and doesn't want anyone else overtaking him. He's rather helping Starmer to his failure, and all Keir Starmer cares about is to say "I've been a prime minister", or may I say a prime monster.

Given that he used to be a human rights lawyer, i think disabled people were put in a false sense of security about Starmer and we all assumed to be looking after us. He is a snake and he is on borrowed time. I thought he was supposed to be a leader! All he has done is take "advice" from other people.

I'd rather have someone like Richard Burgon as PM.

The good thing is that nowadays many people are knowledgeable about politics, as their own lives have become at stake due to politics.

King Louis XIV of France once wondered why so many French people were all of a sudden starting to discuss politics.

An activist replied to him with: When your bread becomes politics, you discuss politics.

French people don't eat any meal without bread (French baguette) and those days price of bread became unaffordable.

Prime Monster is good. I've heard of Keir Starver, Kid Starver, and our dear leader, but never Prime Monster before.

With apologies as this is 'off topic,' but I'd like to reach out to mrs BB - who I hope is still around & whose thoughts align with mine. Everyone is 'important,' & we should share those things we have in common, & never be against another group of people whose struggles we don't even know about. We all need help & support as most people on this thread genuinely show, so it's very disconcerting when there are some adverse comments.

Anyway @mrsBB - I don't know your circumstances, but I'd urge you to try Age UK's benefit checker about Pension Credit. Even if you have looked on the Govt's website about this & think you don't qualify, if you're claiming PIP sometimes you can still qualify for the Guarantee Credit part of Pension Credit due to claiming PIP; it's like an underlying disability passport (there are 2 different levels of this which they call a 'severe disability') that mean you 'may' actually qualify for Pension Credit. Please look here scrolling down to their benefits checker: https://www.ageuk.org.uk/information-advice/money-legal/benefits-entitlements/pension-credit/ if eligible you may get a Council Tax Reduction & other help. Hoping this helps.

Rayner says that she ONLY replies to her own constituents after checking their details, as you've to provide your details. The good thing is that she also says:

"Please note that I read every email that I receive and take account of a range of views and concerns, however, I am not able to respond to every email I receive due to the vast quantity I receive."

So, I wish her good luck with my nasty email to her.
