So that would mean instead of accepting 13% a pass without 4? points it’s only 6-7% . In other words majority on enhanced were mostly never going to be affected. But what are the figures for standard as it’s that I think they’re trying to abolish. It’s interesting what you say as my last assessment was two years ago and I can see how I was steered away from scoring a 4? Point but my award was increased. Was that so I wouldn’t appeal ?

According to Whatdotheyknow (the FOI site) - As of January 2025, 54% of people in receipt of the PIP daily living allowance scored a minimum of 4 points.

of 3.7 million total

So - 46% of claimants get fewer than 4 points in daily living !

That's 1.7 Million - who the government want to stop paying.

I think this whole situation is confusing. All different information put out there , even that only 10% of us will be affected. My heads so overloaded right now I’m fatigued and in pain with it all . I certainly wouldn’t put money on any information I share as we never know the real truth , the DWP and Labour won’t allow it x

Where did you see this Catherine ? The apparent enhanced claimants not getting a 4 is 13% (apparently) , was this what she meant ?

I wonder if anyone has done the maths on this . 1.7 million people most of who get standard rate how much is that over a year plus lcwra .

So if you add the 13% on enhanced plus those who also claim lcwra the £3.5-£5billion is conservative. If half claim lcwra that’s almost £10b a year without the 13% enhanced. Thanks for adding that up for me Martin
