Was it the law firm that were asked by benefits and work to look into it ?

Interesting what you said about Leigh day not helping . I found this from benefits and work . They also took advice from Leigh day and were told nothing they can do basically

Even the Public Law Project is selective about which cases it supports for judicial review. I don't know what the answer is unless people are willing to revisit earlier welfare reforms which should never have been passed and which almost all MPs want to keep buried.
The media has been silent about the "benefits fiasco" for 10 years. Some members argue that somehow it's not relevant to this Green Paper. I say it is.
No law firm or charity can bring the Government into disrepute. That leaves us to do it!

They responded to you in the past though didn’t they ? I haven’t had a reply from anyone.

These 'reforms' have a long way to go yet!! they are only at the green paper stage, then the white paper, more discussions in parliament, house of lords, ongoing pressure from DPAC and other groups. It's far from over, and more and more pressure is mounting on the government each day with mp's from all sides expressing their worry and fears about these cuts.
When I emailed DPAC a few weeks ago and got a reply from them about legal action they seemed to be stuck in limbo at the moment and told me it was complicated, I feel they are waiting until the green paper goes through legislation before taking any legal actions, or showing their hand too soon to the government. They are probab;y being extra cautious with Starmer being a lawyer and making sure their case is iron clad.

Catherine you’ve been amazing, fighting for yourself and all of us . You really are a trooper . I’ve emailed the main people but nothing like you have . Mind you I never get a response. I think they know better than to ignore you 😀

How are people doing?
I've purposely just switched off from all of this, not looking at news or anything to do with this as it's been driving me up the wall and you know what I've felt better ignoring it but it's always there in the background like a dark cloud hanging over.
All I can surmise is that there's more information about the human cost these cuts will bring.
My mum keeps telling me "it will be watered down", how will it though? If Labour can get this through they'll smooth the path for future governments and again I just cannot ignore a certain legislation running in the background.

This is just a war against the disabled. Nothing to do with money or reducing the benefits bill . They hope to save £5bilillion yet if they scrap the two child limit it will not only go on that instead but it will increase each year as people continue having children. So it could actually cost more . To scrap the benefits reforms will cost no extra money and by the time you cost in appeals , training and hiring extra judges for tribunals etc plus the money if they do scrap the two child limit it will cost a lot more . But they don’t care how much it costs to leave us destitute.

I can't recall the form I filled in being that big, maybe it is now as mine was 5 years ago and the one I filled in last year was just asking me if I still warrant pip so they had all my stuff before.
Bare in mind a lot of questions say that if it doesn't concern you yer move to question 31 etc so you skip a lot as is what I did. Just take time over it, don't do it all at once, keep going back to it.

Imagine being as hated as starmer plus reeves Kendall and Timms . And not caring a jot . I watched silver fox yesterday and he reckons starmers gone by October. I know he’s only guessing like the rest of us but I like listening to him having a go at them , makes me feel better.
