Probably. They've made a tidy sum from our misery and won't help us. Same story with Irwin Mitchell, Sir Andrew Mitchell's law firm.

Hi, no I'm not going anywhere I consider people here your all friends and I love posting and responding.🤗 The process of the reassessment went quite smooth even though I was in a state and panicked on a few questions that I didn't understand. . @Passerby have you filled the form in yet? The person told me that the form she has I filled in over a year ago.

    passerby, I'm glad you stayed!

"In addition, the DWP give undisclosed guidelines to PIP and WCA assessors, leading to a higher rate of failed claims. Whistleblowers and campaigners have also alleged that the DWP provide internal guidelines or instructions to assessors that are not publicly available. The DWP denied this, and this denial of undisclosed guidelines raises questions about the transparency and fairness of the assessment process."

Please post your link again as I found out a fact (to quote the loathsome Robert Devereux in reply to a question about UC at a committee meeting 😆)

I’ll look it up later when I’m up to it . It may be we have more rights in the courts than we’ve been told

Was it the law firm that were asked by benefits and work to look into it ?

Interesting what you said about Leigh day not helping . I found this from benefits and work . They also took advice from Leigh day and were told nothing they can do basically

Even the Public Law Project is selective about which cases it supports for judicial review. I don't know what the answer is unless people are willing to revisit earlier welfare reforms which should never have been passed and which almost all MPs want to keep buried.

The media has been silent about the "benefits fiasco" for 10 years. Some members argue that somehow it's not relevant to this Green Paper. I say it is.

No law firm or charity can bring the Government into disrepute. That leaves us to do it!

Catherine you’ve been amazing, fighting for yourself and all of us . You really are a trooper . I’ve emailed the main people but nothing like you have . Mind you I never get a response. I think they know better than to ignore you 😀

    How are people doing?

I've purposely just switched off from all of this, not looking at news or anything to do with this as it's been driving me up the wall and you know what I've felt better ignoring it but it's always there in the background like a dark cloud hanging over.

All I can surmise is that there's more information about the human cost these cuts will bring.

My mum keeps telling me "it will be watered down", how will it though? If Labour can get this through they'll smooth the path for future governments and again I just cannot ignore a certain legislation running in the background.

This is just a war against the disabled. Nothing to do with money or reducing the benefits bill . They hope to save £5bilillion yet if they scrap the two child limit it will not only go on that instead but it will increase each year as people continue having children. So it could actually cost more . To scrap the benefits reforms will cost no extra money and by the time you cost in appeals , training and hiring extra judges for tribunals etc plus the money if they do scrap the two child limit it will cost a lot more . But they don’t care how much it costs to leave us destitute.
