    Hi @karenstar - Welcome to the community, Karen. Might I ask if you're referring to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy?
    I also have a genetic disorder which is usually transmitted in 50% of pregnancies. All of my children, & all 3 grandchildren have inherited it (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome)!

Thank you for reaching out to us,  and thank you for sharing, it must be very difficult for you with your condition, I don't know to much about it except that you carry the gene that can cause DMD in your children, is that correct?
