    Can't wait for spring and sitting in the garden, I didn't do much flower wise last year but will  plant some more this time

    Most of the plants in our garden take care of themselves but I plant up twenty odd pots and a hanging basket every year.
    I find gardening very relaxing.

    I struggle with it its the bending. Gardener only mows the lawns no weeding involved, useless really. He's been asking me all winter to do the gardens, I've told him try again in spring.

    Morning all! No snow here but so much frost and so COLD. We have a smoke alarm with a lithium battery that happens to be in one of the coldest points in the house and it was angrily giving it's "power low" beep despite it supposing to have 6 more years of battery left. The cold often affects lithium batteries.
    I came to the conclusion this is the same reason my laptop wasn't charging up this morning. It is a MacBook Air, only a few months old, with a lithium battery and it was "plugged in, not charging". I checked everything and could only conclude that it was because I left it by my open window all night. I did some research and found out a laptop can be too cold as well as too hot!!

    @Sandy_123
    I watch quite a lot on Prime its actually £4.99 a month on top for a HAYU subscription as it has a lot of reality shows I like. I wish I could just pay that without the actual Prime but no luck lol

    Not bad thanks @Beaver79. I'm a bit sad but otherwise doing good and optimistic.

    That's one reason I don't buy slatted beds. Hope Mr @Teigr can fix it .
    It's 2.50 in the supermarkets @Lou67 think she got wrong price.
    I might have a nap feeling tired

    We've managed a temporary fix @Sandy_123.

    I wasn't going to keep the bed for much longer anyway because we're going to redecorate it and change the flooring later this year.

    We've never had a problem with slatted beds but our daughter is very overweight and she sort of collapsed onto the edge of the bed while I was sitting on it.
