    It was the same here last night @Marydoll5,it sounded like little men in hobnail boots were dancing on the roof.

    Not nice @Beaver79,I had a vomiting bug in December and at one point I'd have been quite happy for someone to shoot me.

    Its a good idea to go into the shop and try them on, i have a lot off trouble with feet and always on the hunt for comfy trainers or shoes.

    My toes hurt me most of the time @Lou67 with nerve damage that's without the gout so I tend to go for softer shoes now

    Its nerve damage and arthritis I have in my toes,  you must be in agony when the gout flares up to. So I totally sympathise with you.

    I didn't realise you had nerve damage too. It's hurts don't it. Walking. I find Ive  learnt to just ignore it. But it can get painful even lying down . Softer shoes help better I think but no good in winter

    I have sketchers @teigr but want to look in the sports shops because the cheap soft ones don't last long

    I love Skechers @Sandy_123(my feet are quite freaky)but they are expensive.
