It can really show the skill that pilots have. Yes, a lot of it when cruising is now automated, but takeoff and landing is all the pilots skill and landing in that kind of weather really shows how much training they get.
I recently started watching a youtube series by a pilot that goes into detail about airplane incidents and it's actually made me feel safer flying because they also go into how everything gets made safer afterwards.1 -

In winds like that I'd expect quite a few go arounds. They have quite tight margins of what they're allowed to land in!1

I am forcing myself to go out later to a local event it’s a tribute act of Queen, after doing a bit of gardening yesterday my Achenbach’s shown its ugly face on my hand and I’ve had a bulls eye headache for the past two days, it’s putting me off going and making me feel like a duvet day 🙂 but I’m not going to let the duvet win, I’ll just leave early.3

Im so sorry about your struggles while your partner spends money on himself, I was married for a long time and a few years were the same for me with my ex husband.
I was truly fascinated to be able to watch a plane in live time landing.But I can totally understand you being fed up with it.I hope you’re doing good today I think the world of you. ❤️2 -
