Its for my granddaughter @Nikkita yes we were never told the baby's sex. A nice surprise at the end. But it's good to know to get prepared. Now I need a basket and does anyone know where to buy the clear wrap? going to put a big pink ribbon on it too

@Nikkita my son is almost 14 and my baby is due on Christmas Eve so I'm a bit nervous about doing the whole newborn thing again! That's sweet that you cried when you bought your daughter's first dresses โค๏ธ I can understand the emotion, girl's clothes are just adorable.

Morning everyone, I hope you're keeping cool today! It will be a hot one all the way over.
@nikita I understand that, I don't do it so much anymore, but when I was younger I would sleep entirely under the covers because it felt safer.
@Marydoll5 Quite jealous! I love thunderstorms. I did manage to see a brief shooting star last night though. A very short lived meteor hitting our atmosphere

We had a thunder storm this morning, now it's gone really warm. Just back from breakfast out with my son.

We are on the North Norfolk coast and it's boiling here. I have a fan that works off my laptop, it is quite nice to have a cooling breeze wafting over my neck and face. Now all I need is an ice cream in cherry cola.

Not great either @Nikkita, the heat can be quite a lot! I have to remember to make sure I drink enough to stop myself becoming dehydrated
