Nope, if Labour go ahead with this it'll just be new claimants and anyone who comes off LCWRA and goes back onto it again. Apparently most people on LCWRA now will not be reassessed again. If Labour do anything bad to us it'll probably be in around 2028 or 2029, so we've got time to prepare, like saving money for a safety net or whatever.

So the Managed migration is going ahead. Well I think we could start to call it, for what it really is:
“Managed Robbery””!
As a single and in renting accommodation I will lose the protection within a year or two! Just thinking, the migration not suppose to even happen until the 2028!

If the inconspicuous officials who actually prepared the reforms under the Conservatives have not changed, then I think the course will remain the same.

Haven't a judge ordered the DWP to release the documents on the changes.

think the court date is 10th and 11th of december and the reforms might not even happen if she proves them to be illegal

May earned £1.86 million, in her first two years after leaving office
And worst of all - that TRUSS woman was paid £32,000 for speaking at a Dublin conference this summer - with accommodation at £720 also paid for…for a single night

Is it not the case that any changes to the WCA are changes in law and a Bill must be passed by both Houses of Parliament and thus enacted ?

Yes,there'there's a lot riding on this court case. If the DWP are found to be in brbreaking the law, they'll have to go back to the drawing board.
My concern is that if you are in LCWRA and move into a supported living flat, you would be claiming housing benefit for rent. Does this mean you'd be kicked of LCWRA?

That was always the plan, to cut benefit.

I wouldn't think so it would simply change the rent element of uc. Lcwra is about your capacity to work.

No. LCWRA has nothing to do with help with your rent, whether that's through UC or housing benefit.

If you are liable for paying Council Tax, then LCWRA status may help with getting 'Council Tax Reduction' but again that is not a UC benefit - it is given by your local authority. You would have to check with them.
