Does anyone here experience worries that go around and around in their mind that won't shut off . Worries that disturb your whole day and night ?

thank you for your wise words @eeL I totally agree with you, I think we all need to start putting self care first. I try my very best to avoid any contact with that man, just really hard when you have a child with a narcissistic sociopath as they latch on and won’t let go! I am constantly over worrying @Strawberry1 thoughts just ruminate in my head, stuck on a loop, making it impossible to sleep

Morning folks, I hope everyone's doing ok. 😊

I just wanted to chime in here as I think the ND vs NT talk is pretty dangerous. Yes, the world is designed from a NT perspective, but let's not talk down about NT people please, we're all in this together, we just sometimes think differently from each other, that goes for everyone, NT or ND. ❤️

I'm so sorry to hear that @eeL I totally get what you mean, it does feel like we're square pegs in a world designed for round holes. But we shouldn't let our past experiences cloud how we move forward in life, easier said than done I know. Life isn't easy for the neurodivergent, but we need to learn to work with others to make others see our struggles.

I do hope you reconsider leaving, as your insight if often very valuable for others.

Hey @eeL I've just seen your email. I think it'd be a real shame if you left, I know you mean a lot to many members of the community and I love our interactions. Maybe keep your account active? That way if you want to drop in to say hi, you'll be all set to go. 😊

This group has been a real eye opener for me , as I went through my whole life feeling like an alien as I have always never fit in nowhere. I am a very observant person so through my life I notice ppls mannerisms, behaviour and my interactions with them and I think of how I am etc and I see clearly from a very young age that I am completely different to them. So it’s nice knowing I am not alone in the world as I genuinely thought there was something really wrong with just me, so I am very grateful to be a part of this group, it’s helped me in so many ways.
