It's a good idea to call back to check on things @Andi66 . I'm sure I've done the same myself. I empathise with you dealing with DWP on anything @Andi66 , they are horrible people to deal with . I start feeling teary thinking about how people are treated by them it upsets me so much because they are awful people. I send kind blessings and wish you all the best . Take care. I really hope everything goes OK for you 🙏. Best wishes always ❤️

I'm the same, having Autism is no fun, when things or people get too much I tend to withdraw and want to be on my own, in fact now I prefer it . You can't get hurt, I don't want friends, I have been taken advantage of , and told I'm making it up having Autism fir my own advantage which is untrue and hurtful.
Just because it was diagnosed late, its been a struggle my whole life . Been taken advantage of in relationships this time by a narcissist.
I am now back on different antidepressants, the only ones I want is my daughter, and siblings and of course my cats

I'm exactly the same just me,my mum and my pug. I don't interact with a single person face to face any further than hello on passing.
I used to he taken advantage of too so for many years I just won't get involved in anything.
and my point is proven my mum is s lovely woman and unlike me is very sociable and she's had more problems getting rid of idiots than I'll ever have

Same as me I'm a great empath and have been used as at one point could never say NO to anyone yesterday had to go out to sort council stuff so I decided to get a bus !! I have always attracted bad people too, especially narcissists they just latch onto me. I am also highly empathetic maybe that’s what draws them in.

I did therapy from 2017 till 2019 it taught me to say no and I dumped 3 people who used me for years I'm happier on my own when i younger I was different goes through stages I think

Not a problem @Catherine21 but we just need to be a bit careful with how we speak about things, as we don't want to upset anyone if we can help it. 😊

@Catherine21 yeah years ago I done dialectical behavioural therapy and we done a whole section on interpersonal skills and we were taught to say no and set boundaries with people. I’ve always had problems with not being able to say no and I’ve always been a complete doormat. Thanks to the therapy I have got a lot better with saying no, and avoiding over explaining or justifying why I have said no. I’ve had to cut so many people out of my life
