I think they also need to get rid of Starmer. I don’t know a single person who likes him. This time it was a protest vote against the Tory’s , next time it’ll be a protest vote against labour

All it will require for Labour to get hammered would be for a lot of their own former voters to just stay home. I'll start checking tomorrow but I bet a good number of this crew are on pretty small majorities to begin with.

This white paper has not came out of nowhere, so why on earth have they stream rolled a head moved all income related ESA to UC to push up the budget cost to just pull the rug out of everyone and take it all away just a few months later.
I have to agree with a few other people around here the cuts should be looked else where… Esp all those hotels..

nope - I’ve had mps from a few constituencies from my own help me out with a reassessment issue and they were nice enough to follow up afterwards (my previous mp just didn’t give a toss about his constituents)
Prehaps they don’t prioritise your emails but either don’t mention you’re a constituent in their area or just be honest and explain why you are contacting them specifically

They had a reasonable majority there so even a narrow Labour victory would show the tide is turning somewhat.

I just and heard on YouTube ( not sure how true it is ) that Labour can’t get any supporters to go out canvassing for them . Their own supporters are turning against them now if this is true

If it isn't true yet, it soon will be. Imagine going out in Rochdale or Blackpool South and saying 'good afternoon, I'm from the party that wants to take money away from people with epilepsy and ex-soldiers with PTSD - can I count on your support?'

Hello like many on here i am Terrified of the recent planned cuts to disabilities i've heard how this might affect PIP in detail but i'm very scared that LCWRA might get cut as well and I can't seem to find details anywhere on this? Does anyone know any details? Will it affect current claimants? By how much will it be cut?
I've heard from the mirror and other sources giving conflicting information. That it could be cut by 1/3 2/3 or even entirely!! Red Tories! How could labour betray its own voter base like this? People voted for them because they are tired of cuts from the conservatives and now we get this? Its pure evil. Tax the rich by a 2% increase, go after non doms and stop giving billions to ukraine. Attacking the disabled is the easy cowardly way.
Vote Green, Lib Dem or SNP depending on your area. Reform and conservatives, as suggested by their manifestos,would also bring in these cuts.

one young guy came canvassing for them at the election. I said no way can I vote for Starmer as I’m disabled. He said his mum was disabled so he wouldn’t work for Starmer if he thought he cut disability benefits. I wonder what he’s thinking now
