Make sure you write to your MP. I did and got a call from his office today asking if he can talk about my story at PMQs (providing he gets to ask a question ) ! My husband ( and I ) is disabled following a near fatal accident and on PIP/ ESA/ LCWRA and UC . Keep the pressure on.

Protect the Super Rich...attack the poor disabled. A Labour government. Starmer is a disgrace, a coward and a complete fraud. RESIGN NOW.

Yep If they filled up all the available positions with jobseekers alone They would still be short by about a few hundred ☺

You are right.

They were also cheering on their own AI plans, and AI is useful for some things but it's also taking a lot of jobs. Many of those jobs were ones that some disabled people might have been able to try working from home too. Then on top of them making it harder everywhere else so businesses are hiring less anyway. They are clueless.

Knowing we have similar conditions and knowing the impact it has I am sure you should be getting longer than that. When I first applied I got a three year award.

He is spot on. I have ties to other parts of Europe and this is a unique issue with UK.
Let's not forget why it's like that Politicans and their msm arm

They know there's no jobs and very unlikely disabled people with get the few there are , but they want them on job seekers money to save the job a few quid, its bonkers tax the super rich , and leave disabled people alone

Yes they will have been given the figures .
It's all about Cuts but dressed up in flowery Political language like "Helping disabled back into work" ☺

It's not the only uniquely British attitude that's so toxic and harmful. The way this country is hostile towards the EU and trans rights are both unique within European. Oh and the systemic classism and serfdom. It's vile.

Hi All, can anybody help me and explain about SARS please? Thinking of everyone in this awful time.
I'm shocked people who are vulnerable can be treated this way.

my first assessment was zero points from highest DLA. Assessor lied totally. Tribunal bullied me and erred in law so it went to higher tribunal. Then back to third tribunal where I got 5 years back dated 2 as it took two years of fighting them. Last assessor took over two hours on what dwp told me should be a quick assessment. She gave me less than two years but dwp increased it themselves. I thought highest for both was 10 light touch but I don’t know how they work that out. She tried to act friendly but I didn’t trust her.

"I thought highest for both was 10 light touch"
What do you mean?

What I find unconscionable is how intentionally divisive they’re making this, it’s disgraceful politics. Turning communities in on and against each other, that’s part of this narrative. I’ll fight that way of thinking till my last breath. There are many others who have much worse health situations and others who have it better. But it serves a purpose to create mistrust amongst people as a distraction from the real unfairness and inequality in this country. Creating a sense of relief for some tomorrow and utter panic for others as they’re thrown under the bus is disgraceful manipulation. Whatever the outcomes I think it’s vile to be honest.

Private Contactors are cut throat especially when they have Government departments equally so.
First assessment I had I thought it was genuine department with genuine assessment process.
I spoke to who I thought was a nice enough accesser and it followed a call from a gentleman posh middleage man reading of money by sound of him asking how my assessment went I replied yes it went well. He then got really forceful in tone and replied "Yes well you can plan a journey". I had no idea what he was on about
Result was losing money despite them having evidence of letters with a therapist at time saying I could leave the house .
Stitch up job and not unique

I got about the same

I am getting little fed up with the government saying, getting those back into work, what work is that then!
So many are losing their jobs with labour in power.

Guardian saying he's going to 'drive through drastic cuts despite opposition'.
