Oh please dont feel like that @Strawberry1 I have AuDHD, so I understand how the world can feel mighty odd and people don't react how you expect them to. It's all fine, it can just take a bit more work from us sometimes. 😊

I just don't know how I've managed to get everything wrong.

Take care of yourselves everyone and remember to be kind to yourselves too 💜

Strawberry, it's the world that's wrong and illogical - not you or me or Albus or the other neurodivergent members on this site. Complete strangers understand each other here, don't you agree?
Late diagnosis is a shocker but absolutely necessary to begin the process of forgiving yourself for not 'fitting in' or doing what was expected of you all these years. It won't happen overnight but you have good support from the best forum in the world, Scope! 💜

Totally agreeing with @WhatThe here. The world is built for neurotypicals, but that doesn't mean we're ever wrong about things, it just means we have a harder time navigating life when there's no subtitles for us to translate that neurotypical stuff.😆
It's taken me 2 years and I'm still learning to be gentle with myself and I'm still learning every day. You'll get there, it just takes time. 😊0 -
I can only accept that all through life it's been me that's at fault. Everything and anything that has gone wrong and most probably will go wrong it will be me too blame . No one else. Even if their behaviour isn't good it's my fault. Always has been always will be .

I'm just a bad person.

But you're clearly not. You're one of the kindest, sweetest members on this forum. We can't all be wrong, surely… 🤔

Your not wrong and neither are other neurodiversity people @WhatThe , it me .

Just you make sure you take care of yourself @WhatThe . I'm should never have wasted Scope and Scope members time in the first place. If I say Sorry at least I know I'm wrong. Sorry for everything.

Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

Hello @Strawberry1 I am glad you managed to pluck up the courage to come on the forum today. You have not wasted anyone's time. We are here for you to help and support you where we can.
You are still coming to terms with your diagnosis and even though you might have had an idea yourself when it is confirmed it can sometimes still take us by surprise.
Try and be kind to yourself.

I've been talking about alot of things @Bluebell21 . The diagnosis won't change my mind about how rubbish I consider myself. I've known all along what a rubbish person I am the diagnosis only makes me more knowledgeable.

Just realised what a complete idiot I've been.

Hi @Strawberry1 You are not rubbish you are a very kind caring person. We all get things wrong sometimes does not make us rubbish. With knowledge comes understanding of ourselves.
Have you managed to make an appointment with your doctor yet or are you just waiting for the right time for you?
Take care of yourself.

I'm not going to speak with GP unless it's an emergency @Bluebell21 . Take care.

I'm the bad person here in this house @Bluebell21 . No one else Me .

I think I'm depressed @Bluebell21 . Sorry 😞.

Good morning @Strawberry1 I am sorry you are depressed, it is probably partly to do with your recent diagnosis. Just give yourself time to come to terms with it. You have no need to apologise.
It is sunny here today for a change after all the rain. Do you have any sun today? If you do could you perhaps go for a short walk, this might help you.
Do not be too hard on yourself.

Thank you for your support @Bluebell . I am depressed because I've messed something up somewhere not at home. It's fine weather here . Sorry.
